You probably heard that the iPhone caches the devices location.
The same happens on Android.

This app allows you to look at the data on your device in an easy way.
You can see directly on a map what positions have been cached.

If it doesn't find any informations you most likely turned of "Use wireless networks" under "Location & Security" settings.

- delete and block (use wireless for location keeps working but no data will be cached on the disk)

Premissions
- INTERNET needed for the map (no internet = no map)

This version is completely redesigned.

This app will help you find the switch settings for Simplex fire alarm devices and other binary switch devices.

The maximum switch possibility is 250.

You can easily find the switch settings using the address OR find the address using the switch settings.

This app brings you most of the great maps back to Locus!

OUTDOORACTIVE ISN'T WORKING RIGHT NOW. WE ARE ALREADY WORKING ON A SOLUTION!!!

Maps that can't used due to limitations in Android and/or Locus:
- OutdoorActive (due to server limitations from the map provider)
- Swiss Maps+
- Daum Maps
- Naver Maps

If you encounter any problems, espacially if this app tells you, that you don't have Locus installed and you are sure, you have, please tell me via mail the following informations:
- Brand and Type of Phone (HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy,...)
- Stock ROM or Custom ROM (if you don't know, it doesn't matter)
- Directory of Locus (for example where your exported tracks are saved; something like "mnt/sd/Locus")

Though you have to run this app only once to bring you back most of the Maps used in Locus 1.5.1, please don't uninstall to stay tuned for new Maps!

All the news right now is about how Apple is secretly recording your every location. Well, it turns out Android saves your location history in the exact same way.

Android only saves the last 50 cell locations and the last 200 wifi locations, but that could show a LOT about where you've been.

See where Android thinks you've been. See what others could find out if they had access to your phone.

Some of the points in the cache might be far outside of places you have been - this is due to errors in the databases Android uses to match wifi access points and cell towers to locations. There's nothing I can do about those - these are raw coordinates I am displaying exactly as the phone has saved them.

This requires your phone be rooted and will ask for permission to run as root when it loads. It is only reading a couple of cache files that are on the /data partition. These files aren't readable without root access.

Most of the errors seem to be due to having the Wireless Networks setting (under Settings->Location & Security) turned off. When this is turned off, nothing is cached.

Internet privilege is used for Google Maps only. External data is used for exporting the GPX file.
