NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TRANSMITTER ITSELF, it will NOT stream music to your radio! Do not download if you are expecting this app to play music that's on your phone. Please read the description fully before purchasing.
NOTE: This is only meant for PHONES. Please ignore the reviews that are from tablets that are not 3G/4G/GPS capable. The wifi on a tablet is incapable of determining your location, compared to a phone which uses wifi to get a rough estimate of where you are using cell towers.
This app uses your current location to determine which are the best radio stations for use with your FM transmitter. Finds three stations with the least interference, so you can get the best quality sound possible without having to struggle with trial-and-error.
Uses the FCC database (only works in the USA). Great for road trips!
A location provider must be enabled in your phone Settings.

[2013-01-16] A Google User: Next you should come out with an AM broadcast vers You should come out with a AM broadcast version that uses the same concept as the FM to find empty AM broadcast frequencies to use. The FM version is great, but it seems there are more empty spots on FM as you think. Like 92.5 for example, that should have been added and also 106.5 FM that is empty. But back to the AM, there are many empty spots on the AM broadcast band we need an app like this for AM since there are empty spots on 1610 kHz to 1710 kHz. |

[2012-11-04] A Google User: Does not work as described - booo! NOT RECOMMEND! Does not work as described - tried it (thinking) maybe I could get it to work on my tablet NO! Wifi off "nothing" wifi on - cant even find my local stations - UGHHH - HTF can I use it traveling if I need WIFI!!!!!! I call bs!!! save your time >_< It was only a dollar - I`m going to keep trying |
