[2012-11-12] Tom: Great for flying It is simple, quick and easy to use. I use it to convert temps and compute crosswinds and tailwinds frequently. |
[2012-10-21] Alexis: Needs work Where's the pressure altitude calculator (from indicated altitude and Baro setting)? Pressure altitude is an input to several other calculations, should we have to guess it? Rules of thumb aren't precise, and the reason we use an e6b is to get better results than rules of thumb... Crashes when calculating OAT when inputting Dewpoint and relative humidity ( not that this calculation is particularly useful, but if it's there it should work). |
[2012-09-25] Ken: Calculations incorrect Sometimes the wind correction angles, the true track and the true heading do not add up properly. (I put in 080 true track, winds 3005, true air speed 94 and I get -2 wca, but 082 for true heading) |
[2012-09-03] Voicu: Best app for flight computing Simple and to the point. I tested it in relation to Jeppesen's Flight computer and it gives the same results every time. |
[2012-07-16] Barracuda383s: Samsung Galaxy S II Am I missing something, Can not fing any Wt/Balance |
[2012-06-06] Jerico: Awesome app! |
[2012-05-14] justin: Great app. I use this instead off the slide rule. |
[2012-05-08] buildakicker: Worked great on gingerbread... fc on ics Just force closes on me when I try and do calculations. Gnex. |
[2012-05-08] Voska: Works great But a nicer UI would be more attractive |
[2012-05-06] Jason: Awesome Used it to calculate whether or not my Vr speed was above my max tire speed in Bogota. 147kts at 8400' and 20C = 174ktas = GS.. I saw 195KTAS as we physically left the runway lol thanks for the cool calculator. Handy for daily use at high altitude airports. |
[2012-04-24] flyboy: Good app The best I have found on Android for this sort of thing. Would like it to be a little quicker to use with shortcuts etc. |
[2012-04-04] Naltron: Better than the ones you pay for. I paid 16 bucks for an app that sucks compared to this one. dont waste your money. If a fly computer its all you need this one is the best. |
[2012-03-20] thomas: Great app |
[2012-03-02] Thales Henrique: Great app It has lots of tools, it's easy to use and it works just fine! |
[2012-01-19] Joel: Great job Donation for sure |
[2011-12-28] Chris Miller: Great for quick calculations Love using this in the airplane to do quick performance calculations. |
[2011-12-26] Anthony: Great free app. Love how it defaults to a large numeric keyboard for number entry. Great for use in the plane. |
[2011-12-19] Micky: Cool dude Awwwwsuuuummmmm Apppp. |
[2011-12-03] Ryan: Handy Quick and handy |
[2011-12-01] Gustavo: Awesome! Great and on the spot for my aviation needs... |
[2011-11-06] Laurence: Aero guru TAS, WCA, Ground Speed and True Course are incorrect for several cases. Check your work aganst an E6B. Your physics and math seems to be off. |
[2011-11-03] Peter: Flight rating It's a great tool!! Wind correction & all work fine! It would be nice if all fields were shown so that computer just fills in the missing bits... |
[2011-10-14] dandustoff: Crosswind and Wind correction are wrong every time. Please correct this!! |
[2011-09-17] Edgar: Great tool It is a great tool to have in your smart phone plus you can not bit the price. |
[2011-03-11] Dave: Free and awesome. |
[2011-02-28] sergerick: great |
[2011-02-25] Mikeflys: Very nice. ISA temp calculation would be useful for high altitude flight. Also need Great Circle calcs for waypoint Lat/Longs. |
[2011-02-13] Whitt: Ok app |
[2011-02-03] John: Did some Gleim questions with it. It was fairly accurate. Off by 1 or 2 degrees at times. Worth downloading to try. |
[2011-01-31] Shivneel: Great app, one problem is that it gives you a excessively high wind speed on the wind direction and speed section, otherwise I havent had any problem |
[2011-01-24] Kevin: Great free E6B alternate.very easy to use |
[2011-01-14] Guy: Woud be great, BUT calculations have to be correct: Rwy 36, Wind 180 gives 0.2 x wind... |
[2010-12-30] Resjef: Calculations are off, WCA about 3 degrees on every calculation! |
[2010-10-10] paul: Mostly it works good, but there is no way to enter a negative value in the temp conversion. |
[2010-10-01] Mark: Some formulas are not correct. DA: 5000 FT @ 27 c is 7640 ft. |
[2010-09-17] giovanni: Pretty good except for the fact it won't allow for negative numbers |
[2010-09-14] Nick: Very useful, but the True Airspeed needs a temperature field. |
[2010-09-09] glidermike: Simple app which does as advertised. Some of the calculations need tidying up. |
[2010-09-09] Mike: Simple app which does as advertised. Some of the calculations need tidying up. |
[2010-08-19] Chris: Does not flow between conversions or allow you to even put negative temperatures |
[2010-08-03] Nakia: Works great. |
[2010-08-02] Enrique: Please double check the xwind app Rwy 360 Wind from 090 Speed 15. It shows as a left xwind at 15 kts |
[2010-07-30] Lara: With a wind from 360 and rwy 6 it told me the crosswind would be from the right. Ummmm no. |
[2010-07-23] Robert: Not to sure of the acuracy of this program. How can they get true airspeed without a temp |
[2010-07-15] Scott: Great tool! Would be nice to have 'rule of thumb' tools like estimate cloud base by temp and dewpoint. |
[2010-07-13] Sean: Great for checking work |
[2010-06-26] Brent: Works great and easy to use. |
[2010-06-20] Redders: Works great, would be perfect if it had 2 decimal places. |
[2010-06-20] Andy: Works great, would be perfect if it had 2 decimal places. |
[2010-06-01] pvojnisek: Would be better if it would be easier to use. I would not let my life depending on this app. Use a non free program instead. |
[2010-05-20] Austin: Not that it is hard, but i wish it would do pressure altitude too, maybe even within the density altitude section of the app |
[2010-05-17] Chris: Try using rwy 16 instead of 160. Common sense goes a long way guys. |
[2010-05-13] shane: X wind calculations can be wrong. Runway 150, wind 090@20 gave me a 11 kt x wind and 17 kt HEADWIND. More headwind than x wind with a 60 deg. X wind ! |
[2010-04-27] Enrique: Please double check the xwind app Rwy 360 Wind from 090 Speed 15. It shows as a left xwind at 15 kts |
[2010-04-21] mark: There are errors in this app! Be careful if you try it! Xwind on 18, 20kt from 090 is not 20kt w/2 headwind!! |
[2010-04-21] Jimmy: I use this all the time for my flight theory homework |
[2010-04-18] anga: Works awesom on the x10i. I use it alot.. |
[2010-04-02] steve: Great easy to use, easy to read. What you need and want. Simple |
[2010-03-31] Ben: @mark - if you put '9' for the wind direction, then that calculation is correct. Try 090 instead. |
[2010-03-30] Yulin: Nice application! It'll be perfect if there's also weight & balance calculation as well :) |
[2010-03-23] Nakia: Works great. |
[2010-03-17] Eric: Nice. Simple to use |
[2010-03-15] Mark: Seems to work flawlessly with sample testing. Can't wait to try actual, in-flight calculations. |
[2010-03-13] Allen: Wow the first reviewer is crazy. This app works great! |
[2010-03-11] njovin: Works as advertised. I checked the calcs and it's accurate Save your money and try it before you buy another. |
