Exactly what I needed This is the only flashlight app I could find that does NOT require permission to create wifi connections, take videos and pictures, identify who I'm speaking too, etc... why do FLASHLIGHTS require anything of that sort? They don't! But the people behind the app sure like having your consent for that crap.

Good little app. Does what is says it does. No frills, no ads, just simplicity and it works. Used it all the time on my old phone which didn't have a flash. My new phone does have a flash and this app won't turn it on, just whites the screen. Wish it could be both but still a good app. I use LED Light to turn on the flash.

Works great! I was using a photo widget with a white picture. It was hard to set up. Found another white page app, but it did not automatically change to full brightness. This app does. Just what I needed. Thanks!

Simple and elegant This doesn't actually turn on the camera LED, it just whites the screen and turns the brightness all the way up. It goes to full brightness even if you have it set to dim or auto. No settings to change the brightness or anything. Quick and ad-free.

Meh...its alright. This 'flashlight' is just a white screen which makes a bit of light. Thing I DO like is that it doesn't need to access my SD card, phone calls or need to take pictures....Would like an actual FLASHLIGHT without it needed to access all my info. UGH.

Excellent light but... The only permission required in the download list is Prevent phone from sleeping. However, after installing, it also reads phone state and identity, as well as the more standard, read/write to SD.

AVOID this flashlite has loads of hidden permissions when installing it says permission is only one - system tools. but when i checked through permissions list via another app it also stated: test hardware, read phone calls, modify sd card...why does a flashlight need these permissions and morecimportantly why arecthese permissions hidden??!! Not what i hoped for Kinda lame, all it does is make a big white screen and thats supposed to be the flashlight. Didnt keep it installed long enough to see how much battert power it sucks down. The led lights that work throygh camera flash are much better.
