does half the work will not work on my galaxy note 1 as far as text messages are concerned, but it works when receiving calls! please fix!

Nailed it! After going through a half-dozen similar apps, this is the one that finally does EXACTLY and ONLY what I needed which is flash the camera LED for text messages. I'm using Go SMS Pro right now and here's how I got it to work: First I went to Go SMS > Settings > Advanced > Other setting and made sure "Disable other message notification" was UNchecked. Then I went into the stock messaging app and disabled its notifications so I don't get multiple alerts. You're done! Works perfectly, thanks!!

Amazing. I have an HTC Desire X. This app works absolutely perfect on my phone. Works just how it is meant to. Is great for when I have my phone on silent too.
