Filter Your Screen (v. 1.11) Разработано kovit p. |
For those who have color tint screens. This app will create a filter to reduce color tint on your screen, or use this app to dim your screen if it is too bright.
You can see result of filter by using 'Screen Test' which is included in this app, you can also use this feature to find dead pixels on your screen.
Furthermore, this app includes a funny feature "Filter Effect" which you can use 'Scanline Effect' to change your screen to be looked like CRT monitor.
***NOTE***
Please read 'Term of Use' and 'Instruction' in this app carefully before using it.
***OLED screen owner please read***
(AMOLED screen of Samsung Galaxy S, Super AMOLED Plus screen of Samsung Galaxy S II, etc.)
- you should use only white, gray or black filter only.
- using color filter (not white, gray or black) for a long time may cause your screen more color tint. (it's about OLED screen property, not my fault)
- using any color filter other than black will cause black pixel being not 'true black' pixel anymore. (that means some power is required for black pixel)
- if the filter does not cover all of your screen, please uninstall this app because this may cause irregular color burn to your screen.
=============================================
******** Known Issue *********
The filter disappear randomly.
- This is because Android system kills some services due to low memory condition. Sadly, This cannot be fixed. However, the system will start killed services again in a few seconds. So, you don't have to start service by yourself.

[2013-08-01] A Google User: Suweet Nice effect. |
[2013-07-26] A Google User: LOVE IT I use it on my Nexus 7 to add a cool layer to it's somewhat warmer texture, and this utility does a wonderful job at it. Many thanks and keep up the good work! |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Best app! best screen hue adjuster i could find. |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Yet another failed "filter" app with horribly intrusive ads I'm amazed at how many "filter" apps exist and entirely fail to actually filter. Tinting blacks with red and leaving white alone is not what a Red filter does, but that's what this app does when you slide the red filter up. |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Great for night reading... This could use the ability to color tint while retaining true blacks, but short of that it's fantastic. |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Brilliant Would recommend this app to anyone who suffers with dyslexia, as it is brilliant to read with. |
[2013-05-21] A Google User: Great Great app, made my screen look less green. |
[2013-05-12] A Google User: My screen was hurting my eyes with the unfiltered backlight. This app has saved my eyes. I love it. |
[2013-05-07] A Google User: Easy to use Very useful app |
[2013-05-06] A Google User: Useful app saves me from my sgs2 yellow tint.but i would really hope the notification to stop popping up and temporarily switch off the screen filter. I would like an option whereby the filter can be on ALL THE TIME.then this app will be perfect. Please make this changes in the next update!!!! |
[2013-05-06] A Google User: Galaxy S2 This is very good. |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Nice & Good i like this program 4 my tab2 7.0 |
[2013-04-14] A Google User: Neat but simple Would be really great if it offered a grey scale option or even a reverse grey scale option that you could then darken and lighten to conserve power soon many websites use white back grounds and black letters a reverse grey scale would make it a black back ground and white letters which use less power I'd give a 5* if it had that and reinstall it but for now uninstaled as it is a good app but not quite what I'm looking for |
[2013-04-04] A Google User: Decent Has the functionality I was expecting. And it's quite useful. It keeps going on and off through the day, though. |
[2013-03-19] A Google User: Hmmmm... Good... |
[2013-03-07] A Google User: Awesome The red filter was great today for using my phone in the planetarium... No more screen blinding |
[2013-03-04] A Google User: well anough, but not i eanted... i need dim white color.. not all bars çan move ob mtk6577 thl w7 |
[2013-03-01] A Google User: Annoying adds There was annoying advertising when exiting the app. This is unacceptable. Uninstalled. |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Huge battery drain It works OK, but there is no reason this app should be using over 20% of my battery (Nexus 4) when it's not even active. Not worth it. |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Works!!! Fix yellowish screen on my xperia p !!! I love it thanks! |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: good useful application |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Good Its ok to use and very convenience but cannot be installed any apps via another other than Play Store while activate it. |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Meh Can't really get it much better with this... I wish there was something that would affect the screen-color more directly. But you can always give this a try... |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Filters work but isn't ideal I un installed this in favour of the much simpler Screen Adjuster by Netman which is probably the best for AMOLED screen phones. This one is not bad but nowhere near as good as Screen Adjuster. Tried and tested. Treat this as the definitive review :-) |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Thanks great app, I use it with red tint when am reading in the dark . Its abit like RenderFX found in some CM roms |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Gud I like this app |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Fixed my S3' black clipping!! Thank you :) |
[2013-01-11] A Google User: Just OK I use for circadian rhythm support. Filters make screen 'grainy'. Moto DROID Bionic. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Niche Needs I needed a scanline filter to satisfy a matter of taste when playing certain games or watching video content with noticeable artifacts. It's a strange preference to some but those who suffer scanline addiction may find a steady supply with this app. Transparency adjustment is available but alpha space is not (can't edit line height/thickness or repetitions). Great app for simple scanlines either horizontal or vertical. Sometimes switches off for a moment then resets. I guess that other stuff works too. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Works Great on JELLYBEAN 4.1.1 Works perfect keeps the darks from getting to dark a must have for Galaxy s3 ♥ |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED!! The app just adds tint! What it needs is sliders from - to + RGB values! Needs 2add & substract color of each channel, not just add.. allU get is a hazed tone/color fogged screen (specially in black areas). Plus the app does not auto-start on boot no matter the settings and when manually started, after a certain time it stops working again. Also, it makes all animations and transitions lag & studder horribly!!! Its a GUI killer!! •Galaxy Tab 8.9 + Android 4.1 Jelly Bean• |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Works great I need this for isotopic sensitivity syndrome. Thank you for this. |
[2012-12-08] A Google User: OK, but needs widget and why internet access??? |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: perfect! Thankyou so much for this app! My heart broke a little when my replacement n7 arrived with a yellowish screen but this app fixed in it seconds! if there was a paid version i would get it! |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: :-D I like it Exellent |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Now I have a nice mild, grey tint. Perfect. :-D |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: Occasional stutters Does its job of darkening the screen during night use. Sometimes gets disabled by itself. Or maybe by other apps. Recovers after a few seconds. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Pretty good Good app but two suggestions: 1. Allow the filter to become darker. 2. It would be nice if we could create widgets like Screen Filter |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: Thaks a lot This apps really help my yellowish screen problem on sony xeria u. Thanks a lot to the developers :) |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Mahabob Rahaman |

[2012-11-01] A Google User: :D Works on xperia p |
[2012-11-01] A Google User: Good But should be unkillable by managing apps... |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Need negative alpha. Want to filter screen to red, not to add a glowing red screen. Ie, disable green and blue pixels |

[2012-08-26] A Google User: Some minor bugs It sometimes stops working and then works again. Also it does not auto start after a reboot. |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: Works great One day my screen turned pink. I looked around for a way to adjust color balance, but had no luck. I set a filter with this app and my the color ballance looks perfect. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: Htc evo lte Please have option to leave filter on permanently!!!!! Then this would be N amazing app |

[2012-07-22] A Google User: Great filter Great app for removing blue color and general color correction. Periodically gets disabled and reenables later. |
[2012-07-21] A Google User: So useful Amazon |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: It does it's job. Although it looses a star because it fails to auto run and apply filter at boot despite having the option checked. I'm quite disappointed that I need to use a third party app, in order to get it to run on start up. Please have it fixed. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: It just works . No bloat. It just does what it's supposed to and nothing more. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Works Works as described. Perfect |
[2012-07-07] A Google User: Very useful on htc one x yellowish |

[2012-06-18] A Google User: Works like advertised But needs a customizable widget option |
[2012-06-17] A Google User: Helps After my second Xperia s I still had a yellow screen but not as bad as my first one, this app saved me getting a 3rd replacement which would still have had the problem. Thanks! |
[2012-06-03] A Google User: Thanks for the great update Best app to cure amoled blues |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Useful app saves me from my sgs2 yellow tint.but i would really hope the notification to stop popping up and temporarily switch off the screen filter. I would like an option whereby the filter can be on ALL THE TIME.then this app will be perfect. Please make this changes in the next update!!!! |
[2012-05-26] A Google User: Perfect |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Ok Doesn't explain anything so you just experiment, not sure if I'm messing up my Droid razr screen or not |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: Not optimized for ICS At least on the HTC Amaze 4G. |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Very good It is the best |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: Excellent |
[2012-05-06] A Google User: Too bright Can't set an alpha larger than 160. Useless for night mode but good for fixing color tinted screens. Use Screen Filter to get lower brightness levels. Bug in landscape mode: sometimes it filters only an area as wide as the width of the screen in portrait mode. |
[2012-04-10] A Google User: Doesn't filter whole screen This just puts a strip down the middle of the screen. On galaxy nexus, it leaves two unfiltered strips on either side. Needs to factor in screen resolution and filter the whole screen to be useful, but otherwise the functionality and options are pretty good. |
[2012-03-27] A Google User: Long thought of... ...finally found. Makes excellent filter in red for ease of viewing under cover of night. |
[2012-03-27] A Google User: finally worth five ★s now with the auto run at boot its perfect. thanks Mr Dev. |
[2012-03-23] A Google User: Fixed Thanks I removed the yellow tint from my Neo V. Wish i had a choice to remove filter icon from notification. |
[2012-03-21] A Google User: Very Good. |
[2012-03-10] A Google User: Very Good... This very good will turn into Excellent if u add the functionality of Gamma control & an option to remove the notification bar icon when filter is on. |
[2012-03-07] A Google User: Useful Great to dim the screen of blue light at a touch, for a F.lux- type effect. The only downside for me is I think the app logo is a bit big and garish. :) |
[2012-03-02] A Google User: What I was looking for Works fine on Atrix 2 |
[2012-03-01] A Google User: Does not work right Only affects the middle of my screen.. ICS Touchpad |

[2012-02-11] A Google User: Happy customer Works great! |
[2012-02-02] A Google User: Need a persistent notification Been looking for something like this for quite a while. Really like the ability to save multiple filters. Need to have a persistant notification option and or widget |
[2012-01-17] A Google User: Great Similar to Flux on the desktop. I can adjust screen temperate and remove blue to avoid eye strain. |
