File Shredder (v. 1.8.0) Разработано Lassi Marttala |
Ad supported version of the widely used File Shredder application.
* Destroy files by overwriting them with random data.
* Select any combination of folders and files easily.
* Works in the background, so you can continue working after selecting the files to shred.
If you rate lower than 5, please provide a comment. I'd love to know what I can do to perfect this app.

[2012-11-14] A Google User: Crashes Nice idea but it just doesn't work on my S3, crashes before I can erase anything. |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Awesome |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Didn't work I installed on my Xoom and tried it but nothing was erased. I tried it three times but it never worked. |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Internet access What do you do with the internet access |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Jks How do you use this?! Don't want to delete something I don't want deleted, instructions needed! |
[2012-06-22] A Google User: Repeatedly locked up, and didn't destroy anything! |
[2012-06-15] A Google User: needs basic instructions no instructions! I am not going to take the risk of erasing key files and folders by accident from proceeding "intuitively". uninstalled immediately. |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: not good |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: Excellent! Absolutely great app. Some niggles, I'd like to sort files in the menus and could you also have the option to hide filenames in status? Good work! |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: It seems to work... ...although there is no mention of how many passes or what method of shredding it performs. This app desperately needs the ability to sort files and folders. Being able to shred a file or folder without having to open the app would be nice. |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Needs work.. lots. Sort: alpha, date, something. Favorite Folders. Settings: # of passes, Notification options, Start folder. Send To (Share) functionality. Search. |
[2012-02-19] A Google User: Not good After shredding a file notification comes which was refusing to go. Memory is also eaten 13.0 MB too much ........Killing does not work.........no way to exit app........Needs lot to be done |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Works, but how many passes does it do to securely delete the file? Be nice to have an option like 1,3,7,35 passes (so please include Guttman). |
[2011-12-22] A Google User: A necessary tool for the security conscious . . . A necessary tool for the security conscious Smart Phone user. Simple interface allowing shredding of files. Once a file is selected for shredding the only way it can be unselected is searching back through the directory tree to find the file, then unselecting it for shredding. It would be better to be able to unselect the file directly on the shredding queue list. |
[2011-10-01] A Google User: Slow. Annoyingly big nag screen that keeps popping up. Can't shred folder. Wished the OTHER File Shredder is still available. |
[2011-09-29] A Google User: Works Was sending back a factory reset phone, wanted to make sure all data deleted, worked a treat! |

[2011-01-18] A Google User: Basic interface. Need more userfriendly UI. Doesn't say to what specs it shreds yr files to, so how secure can it be? No multiple file or folderselect |
