It is difficult to connect a mobile device (mobile phone or tablet) for the first time to a secured WiFi network (Internet Box, LiveBox, Freebox or others WiFi hotspots). The keyboarding (input) of the security code takes time and is tedious (misses of chars, mistakes...) and is the main difficulty.
Nevertheless, it is essential to keep a strong security code to maintain a good level of security for your WiFi network (for which the owner is legally responsible for knowing who uses this network).
With Easy Wifi Connect, no more keyboarding on the mobile device, and so no more problem... Simplicity while keeping the security !

[2012-02-06] Paul: Very handy - with a request... Very handy, especially for first-time connection to networks. I also have to connect to a network who's key changes every week. Currently, I must manually 'Forget' the key for last week before using the app (else it says: 'Already connected'). If there could be a button to 'Forget' or 'Override' the old key on the same page, it would be very helpful. |
