Front-end application for the powerful iptables Linux firewall.
Allows you to restrict which apps can access the network.

This is the perfect solution if you don't have an unlimited data plan, or just wants to see your battery lasting longer.

For advanced users, it also allows you to manually define custom iptables rules.

Please remember to disable the firewall before uninstalling, otherwise you will need to reboot your device to turn it off.

Can't block some apps... This is really annoying. This app doesn't block all apps. I'm not an android developer, so I don't really know how exactly these apps are accessing the Internet. (I know that you can create and control a hidden ie window on Windows, maybe you can do sth similar on android? That could explain the problems.) Worked great at one time BUT When I upgraded to 4.1.2 it stopped working not sure if ya actually even read this stuff but if ya do please come up with a fix for this ASAP! Use to really enjoy the app but can't anymore

Reliable, easy to use app This firewall is just great, reliably blocks data connection for those apps I don't want to make a call home and is very easy to use. Fail to stop MXplayer Droid app works well but it always fail to stop MXplayer from connecting to internet. And who knows if others are also connecting to internet in the background! But still it's worth installing.

Not working Update 6/6/2013 It's not working on my Xperia S (Pre-rooted Build 6.2.B.0.200). Was working fine on ICS(build 6.1.A.2.45). When the white list is enabled, i've to choose Any application to use wifi. if not it won't let me use wifi even though the particular app is selected to use the wifi. Just awesome app.... Worked great on Xperia arc, galaxy s2. But does not seems to work on galaxy nexus (ics 4.04) stock rom :(

Awesome Good app. I would like a feature - Ability to save a setting as a profiles and apply them one click. One problem: If "set mobile data limit" is enabled on ICS, then rules do not work. It works Im rooted SIII this is the only firewall I found that can stop system apps from connecting to data sources. Huge side effect... games not allowed to connect have no ads in or on them lol. I dont allow any games to connect and those that have to connect to work I uninstall.

Brilliant, but... There are a couple of features i would like to see. 1. Custom Profiles. E.g. let me create a profile called "custom" or "normal use" or "bare minimum" etc, that lets me select which apps can use wifi/data for each profile. Then depending on my situation a can just select a profile rather than individually selecting apps. 2. Notifications. Add an option so that i can see when and for what data is blocked. Just something in top menu bar. Would make troubleshooting connectivity issues easier than checking log.

Galaxy Y users! If you want any firewall program to work you must flash custom kernel that have full netfilter support like kuro kernel and it dosent work if you are using stock kernel!
