DroidMote simulates real devices in the all operating systems, other software on the market are just a remote custom keyboard IME. Beware of imitations. DroidMote is the only one with two analog controls, mouse and accelerometer data as the third analog control. Games that support a real gamepad recognize DroidMote as real device. You can play also with all (only touch) games, with the touch profiles. If you not have a router, not a problem. You can establish a connection point to point between the two devices with the function Tethering / portable hotspot of your device. (you do not need bluetooth, the bluetooth is slow and cover small distances)

[2013-01-05] A Google User: Poor quality Apps not smooths enough, keyboard dont responds on text input on droidmote server |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Good app Pairs with server instantly |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Works well Installed the server on my laptop to control video streaming from the couch. Easy setup, plenty of info/direction available, and it works! |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Excellent Excellent |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Awesome |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Awesome Would be more awesome if when app connected, phone buttons and controls also can be used to control the device since user would be very familiar with phone buttons |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Really good remote control app for an android htpc |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Great tool Would be nice if it supported the Synergy protocol! |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Works really well Only thing missing is the recent apps button |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Great app Linked my UG802 to my nexus 7 and my HTC one X, works perfectly, really easy to setup, working in a couple of minutes, totally worth the money |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Great App! I use droidmote with my home computer, our media center, and my laptop (all running the linux server). It works better than any other option I've tried. |
[2012-12-16] A Google User: windows exe server dissapeared No links, no nothing. Can't find the server that allows windows to recognize the input. all links lead to the paid app 'droidmote server'. I have no interest in that, I just want to control oblivion with my phone, which I could before. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: This is Awesome Just work like it should be. Thank you very much :) |
[2012-12-08] A Google User: Works well but UI is ugly! UI needs major improvement. However, functionally, works as advertised! Nexus 4 |
[2012-12-08] A Google User: Best on the market but could be better. Please upgrade ui. I recommend better gyro and accelerometer integration. I have yet to find a game that the gamepad works for so can't comment on it. This has lots of potential to be a Air Mouse replacement but not there yet. |
[2012-12-08] A Google User: Developers are great Developers actually take recommendations are actively developing this app to make it more and more useable. I'm happy with their support. users must know that the developer speaks english but only to an extent. Italian translations might help if you have an issue that you cannot explain to them. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Real problem with this app is developer Seems to think if your not smart enough to do a mind meld with him you don't deserve to understand it and hence guidance is crap |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: No Bluetooth connection Add Bluetooth, please? |
[2012-12-01] A Google User: Nice Excellent app but installing the server on windows is bit annoying , other apps are very easy and fast to install on pc, so if developer could solve this problem it will be the best of thw bests apps in the market |
[2012-11-28] A Google User: Awesome |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Great app Using this to play games on my MINIX G4. Works great after a bit of configuration :-) Should seriously consider using some of the money earned on the server version to hire a designer to improve the GUI. |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: The Best Remote Control App If sameone experience disconnetion problem after same time of standby, control the wifi driver of your device or the router setting. I tested DroidMote after three hours of phone standby and the connection is active. Check your infrastructure before you blame this beautiful app. |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: One of a kind. Works well with a mk808. UI not that great but works. |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: Amazing This app is extremely well done and just keeps getting better. Use server on tf101 hdmi'ed to tv, and ltevo/sgs3 to client control. Everything is very handy, and useful. |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Great This is a very usefull app. I'm using it with my mk802 android pc and it works great under linux too. My only glitch is that on my phone in landscape mode the buttons to change between gamepad and mouse are too big, giving little space for operating as mouse. Apart from that the app is perfect. Please add option for transparency of mentioned buttons. |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Works excellently I've have a cheap Android 4.0 HDMI dongle plugged into my TV running DroidMote server which I control from my Android phone... works like a charm. No complaints at all. An excellent tool. Only suggestion would be to move the Home,Back buttons to the bottom and the tabs to the top (more thumb friendly). |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Ugly as sin But it works better then anything I've tried for controlling my hacked nexus q using it as a media center. |
[2012-11-20] A Google User: It works What can I say? It's a client. It connects. It controls the device. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Finally You guys fixed the scroll problem with the touch pad. Good. E4gt cm 10 Ubuntu 12.10 |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Works Great but ugly as hell Works as advertised but it is quite ugly. Especially bad on my nexus 7. Also only the gamepad and mouse/touch screen section remains in landscape when in use the other controller sections bizarrely force portrait. |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Great app for Android HDMI sticks I was a bit hesitant to pay for the server app but I'm glad I did. It's still in heavy development so I got 2 updates this week. It works great but can be still a bit laggy when you have other WiFi activity going. I'm eager to know how this app will develop itself!! |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: It just works. I got this to use as a remote for my mk802. It works great. Very easy to switch between trackpad, keyboard, etc. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Fake app |
[2012-11-11] A Google User: No Linux source code Claims Linux support but there is no source so you can't install it. Author says "send me [device] so I can compile it." I call BS, uninstall. |
[2012-11-02] A Google User: Quality Brilliant...could ask for ability to press and drag to scroll better...but really top marks. |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: Very impressive From my experience of using this app, it is far superior to Tablet Remote. It maintains a steady connection from my phone to tablet allowing me to access all functionality. A really useful product and well worth the small price for the server app. |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: Great Remote I am using this Solely on my MK802 Android PC it Has eliminated the need for a mouse and keyboard, which I wish I'd known sooner. Spectacular apps thank you |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: hard to switch mode random switch between drag and move modes. need a simple way to switch. |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Does the job! Using HTC Amaze 4g as a set of peripherals to control Lenovo Ideapad K1 AOSP JB ROM connected by hdmi to tv. Very good stuff!!!!! |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: No change log The info in the What's New section is old. |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Excellent Best app to control mk802 or similar device. |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Perfect to control a Zero Devices z902 Installed the server on my Zero Devices z902 and the client on my tablet and smartphone. In less than 1 minute I was already controlling my TV's new Android dongle. Easy to set up and works fine. Good app. |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: Love it I got it for my mk802 II it's on the stock Rom and it works great thanks |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: Great app Easy to use |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Amazing You must try this, PC, tablet whatever |
[2012-10-05] A Google User: Great app |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Not working for me....:( |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: S-rate app Splendid apps. Bought the droidmote server. Sometimes the pointer froze for a second or less. |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: The only cross-platform alternative Couldn't find any remote mouse app for ubuntu, but this is the solution! Simply great! |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: Congrats Nice APP! The only complaint is the xperia play buttons not mapped correctly (circle button is set to "back" for example... ) |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Nice App Please add quick connect shortcuts |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Excellent Works like charm on the MK 802 II |
[2012-09-12] A Google User: Works Great Worked immediately with my MK802II. Not sure why anyone has issues with it. The developer is on XDA every day helping people with issues, so see him if you have any. That's where I found out about this awesome app! (I posted this same review for the server app too) |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: Wtf Can anyone tell me how to make it work? I installed the drivers and get to the waiting for incoming connection but nothing happens |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Worked instantly with Galaxy Note and Win7! Great app, unlike others that I tried and required quite a hassle this one worked immediately after installation! |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: Amazing easy to use good feature to have would he multitouch and more customization of controller ui |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: superb! I've searched for such an app with working gamepad since I first got my phone :D All I've found was gmote which is paid and doesn't work as a gamepad. This is a great app, and I trust it'll get only better with time. Sometimes there's a small delay/lag, but it's ok. ThanX to the dev :) |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: Awesome for htpc Google nexus 7 works great. Took a little while to setup on PC, but instructions very good. Very responsive and completely replaces any keyboard/mouse alternatives. Haven't tried gamepad yet. Only things that would make it better is an easier method to scroll maybe a strip to the side of touch area. And the ability to integrate with XBMC remote or simulate full windows media centre remote. |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: Nexus 7 and HTC wildfire Use this with an Android mini PC, the MK802 and it works very well. Took a little bit of getting used to but that's because Android is designed for touch screen tablets, but now I've got used to it I can sit bac and relax and control the television screen using my phone or tablet. Great value for money, and thanks to the author for getting this to work with the MK802. |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: Had troubles at first Emailed dev and he replied within hours, instructing me what to do to fix the problem. Now its working perfectly. Great! Just needs Xperia PLAY Optimisation! |
[2012-08-27] A Google User: Works perfectly Using with MK 802 mini pc to control streaming tv. Smoother than wireless keyboard. |
[2012-08-21] A Google User: Excelent client!!! i have fully tested the client and it realy works very well. im very happy with the product ;) keep on with your excelent work. |
[2012-08-19] A Google User: Not Quite It has really good connectivity. The only issues I had was the weird gamepad and the scroll problem with the mouse. A full pc keyboard would also be wonderful. Other than those it will get the job done. |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: Victor It's bullshit |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Works but needs to be reconnected regularly. This would be more or less perfect if it didn't keep disconnecting all the time. While watching programmes and using the phone, I keep having to reconnect the server. Also it tends to eat cpu even when not being used. |
[2012-08-14] A Google User: Brings the MK802 to life I have installed this on my MK802. Works really well. Very sophisticated. I haven't tried the game pad yet but the other controllers work well. I think the mouse pad controller could benefit from another option to scroll through pages. The 2 fingered drag is a little bit hard to master. The option of a scroll wheel would be nice |
[2012-08-12] A Google User: Motorola I need to root my phone please help |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Good enough Multi touch configuration is just a bridge too far. Could do with presets for the more popular apps. |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: an app for all your controlling needs for tablets! Well not jsut for tablet, but for other phones, or Android TV, not to be confused with Google TV!! I have a Coby MID-7042-4 tablet with some issues with the ROM but once that was worked out everything worked, please see my review of the client. The client installed and worked great on my Sprint Epic 4G Touch. The only issue I am seeing is the mouse has a delay before the server pics it up, but after that it is spot on all the time. I will do more extensive tests with the other parts of the app once I get a few games and video players up and running. This is going to be great as it'll allow me to use my broken screen tablet as my primary media/game machine on the big screen. Thanks for the great app!! |
[2012-08-02] A Google User: Does exactly what I wanted I simply wanted to connect a tablet to my HDTV via the mini-HDMI and control that tablet from another Android device (my cell phone). I've seen other apps that will do this, but only using bluetooth... This app is one-of-a-kind (since apps like Tablet Remote don't use wifi) innovation that is on the cutting-edge of software development in regards to what "The People" want... I'm beginning to see Bluetooth fade (due to it's limited distance) and wifi, whdi, dlna, vnc, rdp, etc., uprising. People want CONTROL over EVERYTHING digital, and they want it from ANYWHERE... This app fulfills that desire! |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: ZTE WARP Ok |
[2012-07-30] A Google User: Xperia Play Can you add support for the touchpad now? (aka the virtual analog sticks) |
[2012-07-30] A Google User: Have thanks for the last update! I love, love, love this wondrous beautiful thing ♡. The latency is good if you have a good WiFi router. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Horrible latency DESPITE what everyone says, latency is unusably bad for classic games (using HP Touchpad server and Xperia PLAY remote). I play NES/SNES games at an expert level and this turns me into a total herp-a-derp, running into enemies and off cliffs thanks to horrible latency. Many simply aren't skilled enough for it to matter and modern games hide it with long animations and imprecise timing requirements, but it's far worse than I was expecting from the reviews. Description never updates with updates. |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: Show |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Ill check it out 1st Wowser |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: MK 802 Great for controlling the MK 802. If you have one, this app and the server app are essential! |
[2012-07-13] A Google User: Perfect for FSX Great app, finally found an app that had the accelerometer thing. Works perfect for flight simulator x.. |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Causes tablet to reboot Loaded this on my server on my transformer prime but it reboots once I select start |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Supports tethering Server drivers fail to install on W7x64. Comes without a decent installer. |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: taking steps back no move to sd card |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Awesome! Wait till you try this! |
[2012-06-14] A Google User: Cool The best way to control any other Android device, mainly the ones you connect to TV. Even compared with a physical mouse! |
[2012-06-13] A Google User: Great app! Easy to set up if you have a little tech knowledge. Works perfectly! The best thing to do is set your router to give your Droidmote server a static IP address so you don't have to change the client settings when you want to connect! |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: Perfect Works exactly as advertised! Thank you! |
[2012-05-24] A Google User: Not quite there yet But I have high hopes for this last update |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: not great Needs direct connetion through Bluetooth using WiFi is unreliable and limits places of use. |
[2012-05-05] A Google User: Scroll with two fingered swipe. It's all there. RTFM. |
[2012-04-29] A Google User: Almost there! This is really awesome! Scrolling needs a bit more work when pairing my phone to tablet (the touch events seem to be a little off) and I don't like how it's the opposite direction. Otherwise - fantastic job on this! |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Just about right Great app but I can't get scrolling working right! |
[2012-04-24] A Google User: Awesome |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: It's almost there.. Works perfectly both to my Asus Transformer TF101 and to my google TV box (from Galaxy Note) but seriously needs ability to scroll in browser and other apps!! Give me scroll and I give you five stars!! |
[2012-03-23] A Google User: Really Useful Best android to android remote. Saves taking extra hardware to friends. Thanks |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: DNS also please. Works great, but would be better with the ability to use the DNS name of the Droidmote server instead of just the IP. |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: awesome! the windows server is a little complicated to configure if you are a noob to using cmd like me but it is worth the trouble... I love the game controller it works flawlessly with no lag or delay! |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: The server is not reachable Impossibile effettuare il collegamento fra htc Wildfire (server con root) e Nexus s (client). |
[2012-01-21] A Google User: Good It's really good, but still needs a way to scroll in apps, eg: Netflix. No mater what I try, I can't get it to drag the movie selections left or right. |
[2012-01-15] A Google User: So far good! |
[2012-01-09] A Google User: Works Great but... The controller and axis functions are only supported for Honey Comb and up. |
[2011-12-27] A Google User: Works Great |
