Distance and area measurement в Android Market

Distance and area measurement (v. 1.13)

Turn this application on and walk or drive around a region to measure its area. The path length is measured as well.

To start a measurement; wait until the GPS reciever is ready and then press start. If the positioning is a litle shaky in the begin, press restart as soon as it has stabilized.

Feature requests are welcome.

What happened? This was the best app I'd found for measuring irregular shaped areas. It was very accurate & I used it every day. Now it is virtually useless. When you stop it constantly changes. Use to be very consistent with multiple measurements. Now, not even close. Verizon Revolution . Please fix.

useless It would be great if you could upload a map or if you could export the data for a SIG program. The kml file exports the polygon with an unknown datum so I can't possibly upload sucessfully the shape, as google earth puts it outside its real location. So, which datum is being used? At least you could indicate it on the help file.
