Display brightness в Android Market

Display brightness (v. 4.0)

A simple application that allows you to change the screen brightness.
Adjustable on screen control is top of all the windows.
You don't need brightness widgets any more.
Just install, setup and adjust brightness by touching screen.

Don't forget: long (more than 5 sec) click or double fingers click to indicator bar will turn system depended autobrightness.

Intent for Tasker (or another similar application):
Type - Broadcast receiver
Name - "rubberbigpepper.DisplayBrightness.SetBrightness"
Integer extra parameter "Brightness level" means which brightness level (from 1 to 100%) to set

Free version shows Ads in the Settings, Pro version does not show.

The best of best Truly worth 5 * rating. I generally keep very low brightness values to save battery. Thanks to d extremely innovative developer, I can increase brightness levels when needed even when the onscreen visibility has become too low for easy interaction with the phone, and I can do so even without first unlocking the phone. Extremely customizable. Recommended settings: thin size,"solid bar", top center (or top left/top right with a horizontal offset of 3),overlay statusbar,1 sec reaction delay,start with reboot.

Very comfortable app But keeps disappearing at the most inconvenient times, so I have to go into the app and re-enable it. That's my only problem with it. Otherwise its perfect.

Battery saver I'm right handed so I set it on the top left so it wouldn't interfere pulling the top bar down. Off set it horizontally by ten since my case makes it hard to slide all the way to the edge of the screen. Picked some nice colors and it's now an integral part of my smart phone experience. UPDATE: updated android and even with the pull down menu slider, this app is still better because I can adjust brightness according to what I am looking at, instead of comparing it to the menu pull down.

Intuitive and immediately accessible Snap to notification bar and does not intrude. Even works in lock screen. Wish there is an option to set the maximum brightness level. That way the whole bar can represent the most usual brightness level range that we use, eg 5%-50% brightness level . On a bright screen phone I seldom go beyond 40% brightness. On another less screen capable phone, I seldom go down to below 20%. Thank you for the great app. Edit: I hope screen filter can be integrated. At a level lower than a certain pt, filter kicks in.

Very convenient app. A very intuitive method of activating the app and adjusting screen brightness to the perfect level under widely varying conditions - and thus conserving battery from its number one hog. Just touch the lower left corner of screen with left thumb and slide up & down leftmost edge to desired brightness - in ANY app or screen! It remembers the last setting on startup.

Would be so much better with overlay filter. The only thing more that would love to see in this is an overlay filter to achieve beyond-minimum dimming. Annoying after 4.3 I love this app but after 4.3 the persistent notification is too annoying. Might be tolerable if the icon wasn't colored and matched the others.

Must have app... This is on every Android device in the house and is the best of all the brightness controls available. Just needs a tweak for the 4.3 update and the swipe bar works but doesn't move, and a bulb icon stays in view on the top bar.

Best brightness app ever I was looking for a brightness app which could let me increase brightness when in lockscreen to enter the key. This is the only which does it as it can overlay on the status bar. Excellent app. However please include the maximum brightness option similar to minimum.

HTC One user My old galaxy could control the screen brightness with the pull down bar from the top, but this phone doesn't have that. I put the control bar at the bottom center and now I can slide my finger along the "htc" and the screen brightens/dims. Great app!
