Works when in the app on Droid. But not when leaving app. I'm not on rooted phone and auto bright is off. Therefore this is useless for me. Too bad

Droid owner. It does dim the screen but once you exit the app it only dims to the factory setting

Stupid app, even with Automatic Brightness (Droid) disabled it only dimmed the screen of the app itself. Once you exit, it doesn't work.

Turns out auto-brightness is stuck in the on position for the custom ROM i flashed to to get wireless tethering. Sorry for the confusion
