This app simply deletes all contacts on device. This may delete any contacts on sync accounts as well. Sync accounts are accounts that add to your contacts like facebook or twitter. Be warned, this will delete *ALL* the contacts on the device.

It's so bad it doesn't even know it!! It's only an ugly button thats located at the high left corner point(0,0) >>creator doesn't care about the look Function: after you press THE button, a confirmation action with a yes, no choice and then the progression bar shows with the right number of contacts and it goes through them 5-10 per second and when it gets to 100 the bar doesn't disappear!! Take a look at your contacts then. NOTHING CHANGED!!!! Note: all contacts sync was off before attempting deletion!

Dead Duck Seems simple to use and would be a fantastic app if it worked. Pressed the delete button, # of contacts jumped up to 34,000+, progress bar git to <20% then the progress bar disappeared...pressing it again had the same result. Perfect--exactly what I needed Small app with no crazy permissions, just does what it's supposed to do. My Verizon phone won't let me delete all the contact data without a factory reset. This solved the problem simply so I could replace my messed up contacts.

Does the job! ! :-) Google kept Sync my contacts over and over again until I had 5,000 contacts. I backed up the important contacts and used this now I got 150 instead of 5,00

Excellent on my Droid X This app worked great for me. Very simple to use...it only has one button. A delete button. It took about 10 minutes for over 1000 contacts. I highly recommend this if you need to clean out soul your contacts.

screen rotate issue If the screen happens to rotate during the delete process it is canceled and you have to start over again. This is very frustrating when it is deleting 8000 contacts (which take about 30 minutes) and it happens at about 95% done.

Simple and very helpful It deletes all your contacts at once with one touch of the screen. Very simple. And VERY helpful if that's what you need. Android's default calendar seems only to enable deletion of one contact at a time. A big android inconvenience, which this app solves. Thank you.

Worked GREAT!!! My T-Mobile & Gmail contacts combined somehow duplicated my 350 contacts so that I ended up with over 1200 contacts on my phone. This app wiped my contacts off my phone completely and fast--took less than 2 minutes. I was able to easily resync with Gmail and now everything looks great. Thanks for an awesome app!

Why do you need this app? To delete all contacts stored on phone: Go to settings> applications> manage applications> Contacts storage>clear data. This will delete all contacts in the address book.
