Data channel toggle app+widget to save battery power and bytes on a limited data plan.

Similar apps mangle the APN list of your phone, potentially corrupting it.

DCSwitch uses android's undocumented services to enable/disable the data connection in a clean, mean and concise manner.

NOTE1: HTC SENSE not supported.
NOTE2: Does not work on Gingerbread. See and star this issue to make it work again: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=15031

This just works Works as expected on my Samsung Galaxy 5. Data traffic disabled and enabled in 1 single touch without having to restart the phone. Finally my search to for the perfect app to disable/enable data traffic, with one-touch, ends - after wasting 3 full days searching all corners of the Google PlayStore universe for an app which can do this. It seems that Google doesnt allow apps to directly disable/enable data traffic, so the apps can only take you to that settings screen, after which you have to manually disable/enable the option. So if your phone manufacture didnt pre-install any native widget to toggle data traffic, like my Samsung Galaxy5 then this DCSwitch widget is the only one which works.

Meh Worked perfectly on LG Optimus M 2.2.1 . Doesn't work on LG Esteem w/2.3.4 . Would be a lot cooler if it did. Data enabler widget does work on the LG Esteem
