CurrentWidget (v. 0.36c) Разработано RmDroider |
CurrentWidget displays how much electric current the device is using from the battery or receiving from the charger. It can also notify you when the device is using too much battery.
*NOTE: The electric current reading doesn't work on all devices. The reason is that the manufactures (mostly Motorola and Samsung) don't support this in the battery driver or in the hardware.
* Add to home screen after installation.
Now also includes:
- Notification - get real time alerts on high current values!
- Transparent style with customization options
- Android Backup Service - Automatically restores your settings on new installations
- Voltage & Battery level (%) display
- Log battery values
- Plot current graph
- Analyze log options
- Log file rotation
- Custom operation - set an arithmetic operation on the current value to adjust for different devices
Touch the displayed value to switch views.
Select only one view to bring back configuration shortcut.
Open settings & graph via launcher icon.
* The lightning icon changes color when the phone is charging (white/green).

[2013-01-07] A Google User: Does what it says Can't believe I couldn't find more apps that display charger amps. This was one of two and the only of the two that worked. Simple and easy to use widget. Wish I could make it bigger but no big deal. Evo 3d. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Great app I love this app on my desire hd, but I can't get info on the number of mA being used and just see "no data" with it installed on my nexus 7. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Works great! This works nicely on my HTC Raider. I can use it to test chargers and also for the solar charging system I'm working on. InventorArtist |

[2013-01-02] A Google User: Nexus 7 Looks like a great app. Would love to get current logs for my nexus 7. Please do your best to add support for this. Thanks. |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Works with Android 4.2 Nexus 7 ! After changing from stock 4.2 to CM 10.1, this app works perfectly now! Thanks for your work! |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Note 2 N7100 Could you add support for Note 2 also? Thanks. |

[2012-12-11] A Google User: No good for Note 2 user?? Nice interface, but current reading is not working for my Galaxy note 2 Please help! |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Must have app... Thanks to this app I found out the effect of charging your phone with its protective case. The temp difference could reach 10 degree Celcius!! Great for monitoring current from usb/ac charging |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: Galaxy Note 2 So I have a note 2 and it always displays 1A in the app whether I am using a 1A rated charger or 2A rated charger. It just shows 0A when connected to PC. I am trying to figure out which if my chargers support 2A. Seems like this app is the only way to do it. The concept is awesome. I hope the note 2 gets more support. I would be willing to donate generously for that. Then once us Verizon Note 2ers get root and kernels I would love to see the data of the difference with fast charge enabled. 5 stars once that is supported for sure! |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Odd When on the nexus 4 the wiget shows as not charging when charging, and vice versa |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: No Note II Support Worked great on my HTC Evo, but no support yet for my new Samsung Galaxy Note II. I'm sure it will be around soon. It's the phone, not a bug or something. |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Could be Useful No longer measures current in JB (Thor v20). Just says: No data. It still give valid voltage & temp reading. Used to love it and would go back to 5 stars if dev could make it work on my Aver A500 running JB by Thor (v20). |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Didn't seem to work on my S3 |
[2012-11-11] A Google User: Used this on my Desire HD in the past, great tool. Not working on my One X+ though :-( just gives the value 0 all the time. |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Not working on Galaxy Nexus Widget just shows a blue lightning bolt, No values at all. Too bad, it seemed to be just what I was looking for. |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: Not working on Galaxy Note2 N7100 I use this app on my HD2 nand android rom and it works perfectly. But in my new devices like Galaxy S2, HTC EVO 3D, Galaxy Note 2, it cannot get the correct current. I know devices vary in their hardware, so it's not developer's fault. |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Awaiting for support for note II |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Perfect Tool for choosing charger.. I was confused why my 1$ car usb charger from ebay doesnt charge my s3 ( when i use phone, its type charging, but battery % drops ), istalled this tool and see that its only get 200ma to phone.. Thanks, Great Widget. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Best at what it does! I used to love this app on my Desire HD but unfortunately it doesn't work on my new Galaxy Note 2. I know that's not the devs fault though so still leaving my 5 star rating. Excellent app on working hardware. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Not impressed HTC One X ICS 4.01 Dudded again. Intermittent if it works or not. When it does work, still disappointed. Text scaling issues, confusing configuration. |

[2012-10-30] A Google User: Samsung S2 Does not want to install. |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Doesn't Work on Samsung Stratosphere As said in the app description, Samsung may not work, and I can confirm that it doesn't work at all with the Stratosphere. Still giving it 5 stars because it looks like if it did work it would be really awesome. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Good app Lightweight, no fuss. Doesn't report drain no my Galaxy Note, but all I need is a widget that reports how much amperage I get from any charger. This widget fit the job perfectly. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Galaxy note2 Lte charge current error |
[2012-10-19] A Google User: Great tool for battery recalibration |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: track nothing no use |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Doesn't really do what I'd hoped I wanted this to display the current draw or charge in mAh so I could test the usefulness of various chargers. Firstly, it didn't work with the Nexus 7 which I assume is to do with that device no exposing the required values from the underlying battery service. Nothing the dev can do there without requiring users to have root I suspect. It did work on Xperia Ray, but I couldn't see any positive (ho ho) confirmation that a charge was being taken, with the figures not really bearing out what I expected to see. For example, on battery the widget showed a draw of between 180-320 mAh. Fine, but on charge from a 1A charger the display changed to 90mAh. The lightning bolt was green (indicating charging) but this was far less current flowing in that I expected to see from a USB port I know can charge the battery quite quickly, even with the screen on. If the widget displayed +/- signs to confirm it would probably help. I'll play around with the logging and see if that helps explain things. The ability to create a larger widget was also be good as on both my devices it is really too small to be able to manipulate it. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Does not run on US galaxy S3 Can open the settings, but nothing else. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Don't work gppd Samsung Galaxy Note there is no ma info. The other things working so 3 stars. |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Incorrect values on HTC One XL Great widget on my last phone but on Telstra HTC One XL (4G lte) the mAH values are incorrect, the HTC One X support in .36 version didn't help the one XL |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Works ... but no battery current info on my phone, as documented |
[2012-10-02] A Google User: Does not work with my Galaxy Nexus |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: Stopped working on my HTC evo 4g. Used to be good. Edit. You are right. I dragged icon instead of longpressing. My bad. Works as represented. It is an essential widget for me. You have to set your options on the all apps screen then move it to homescreen by long pressing homescreen, selecting widgets then Current Commander. |
