This application is convenient for use in the clipboard.
When you register frequently used words and sentences, You can choose them to copy into clipboard.
And, you can copy timestamp.
It appears in the notifications status bar at the top of the screen.
So while using other applications, can be used.

[2013-07-03] A Google User: Seems to NOT be abandonware, anymore... ...which is nice to see because I was a little worried about the dev; that something happened to him or something. I had written, here, about a year ago (in June 2012) that the app seemed to be abandonware; and the dev had seemingly disappeared; wouldn't respond to emails, and the app hadn't been updated in a really long time, as of back then. But I now see that there's been a recent (April 2013, as of this writing) update, and that's terrific! And I still say that this is a really excellent app... that is, when everything's working. Certain things weren't on my phone in 2012, and that's why I needed to contact the dev; but, alas, nothing... at least back then. So I moved-on to something else; and the pity, now, is that I'm used to what I moved-on to, and I like it. So I don't think I'm going to now circle back to this app (though we'll see). This is a good app, though; let there be no doubt about that. |

Thanks to the dev for this wonderful app :-D I have been using it for a couple of years now, and don't know how I would get along without it. The simplicity of the app is its best strength, yet it is also unbelievably powerful. The dev is also extremely responsive: I just had a problem with the latest version and had a fix on the Market in less than 24 hours!! For a completely free app with no ads and only one necessary permission, I think that there shouldn't be anything less than 5 stars from anyone here :-! |

I just create/ copy various covering letters on/over to this clipboard like App and store them there for easy selection and I copying into the body of a new email. Life saving. [2012-11-27] A Google User: Useful, but needs work This is a nice utility for easily copying text into the paste buffer, for pasting into other apps. As others have noted, this app no longer starts automatically when booting (in ICS). For some reason, I also can't launch it from Startup Manager (Free) but I can add it as a startup app using another free toolkit for Android, All-In-One Toolbox(17 Tools). Also note that Import does not work either. When my phone got an ICS update and autostart began failing, I tried to Export, uninstall, reinstall, then Import and Import failed. If these two problems were fixed, this would be a 5 star app. |

Check out Auto Start, Automate It, or Task Bomb! - I'm sure there are others, but all three of these work for one app at least with their free versions... |

They're in /com.matabii.copipe export/ Similarly, files you wish to import using the menu need to be placed in /com.matabii.copipe import/ Also, you will get an error if you try to export a category with characters that can't be part of a file name. (Like "/" for example.) Considering these complexities a better help function would be nice. Still rates 5 stars though. |

[2012-05-14] A Google User: Useful, No Manual, but even TimeStamps work I downloaded it to add TimeStamp ability to Jota Text Editor. CopiPe doesn't seem supported - Dev's website isn't there. However here's the basic functionality, including how to get TimeStamps: CopiPe lets you store multiple strings in separate categories (categories can have folders), and then copy any of those strings to the clipboard with one click. While in another App start CopiPe either from the Notification Bar or from within the App, if it 'knows about' CopiPe (Jota Text Editor: Menu | Insert). You can then click any pre-defined string to copy it to the clipboard and go back to the App you came from. In Jota the string gets pasted immediately, but in other non-CopiPe-aware Apps you need to paste it manually. Besides the Menu, CopiPe uses long-click functionality: for example long-click 'Default' and you can add another category. Deleting strings & folders uses long-clicks too. TimeStamps are hidden in the 'Format Setting' of the string you're adding (Menu | Add Data). Choose Date English, hit the Sample button and you can format the string to your heart's content. Now you can click the timestamp like any other string to get the current Date and/or Time in your App! |

[2012-05-11] A Google User: Was the best... Maybe it's abandoned as no updates for over a year. The issue I have is that it doesn't load on startup on ice cream sandwich, so a bit pointless... For people who don't understand this application and rate it 1 star... It is simply an app to store frequent words/text which you can copy from the app and then paste into stuff like SMS, browser etc! I.e., store your email address to save you typing it every time. It doesn't give copy and paste functionality to things that don't have it. |

[2012-01-21] Ed: Super Time Stamping Ability is Terrific Other utilities can TimeStamp, giving you limited formats, and plaguing you with ads, eating your bandwidth.... hardly free. Here I was able take format like 1/19/2012 5:24 pm and edit it to the form 1-19-2012 5-24pm. It then stays this way for me. This way you can copy just the date or just the time and use it in a file or a folder name as the characters are legal. Works perfectly with Jota. Make sure you have it set to start on boot. Today, 01-21-12 clicking on Help shows the author's url is non-existant. I would like to donate to him, but I do not know how to do it ! Ed |
