[2013-07-10] A Google User: It could be so much better App feels like a quick-and-dirty debugging tool written by a dev for his/her own use. There have been no thoughtful enhancements since app was released, so I figure none should be expected. So disappointing. The app could be a unique, important tool for all users. But it's not. |

[2013-06-12] A Google User: THANKS This is great. Thank you. |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Excellent Works great. shows all IP addy's on Tf300, Note II, and Nexus 7. CSV logs are helpful. |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Blocking Really? People are complaining that they can't block an app that's dialing out suspiciously? First of all, besides root, that requires changes to build.prop as well as several smali files and the services.jar. Get autopatcher on xda, and add openpdroid. But secondly, an app that acts badly should be DELETED, not blocked. That's like quarantining a trojan that can be removed. No app is important enough for it to misbehave, but still have a home on your device. |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Excellent |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Ok Agree about list scrolling issues tied to refresh rate, annoying. Also the differences between pro and free aren't that great. It would be a pro feature to have the ability to block/disable outgoing connections (understable if this can only be done with root and you don't want to support that). |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Aggravating, limited, crappy I find it deeply aggravating how the list jumps back to the top EVERY! SINGLE! TIME! the app refreshes. This makes it impossible to scroll through the list without first reducing the refresh rate (requiring that it be later set back to the proper setting). This behavior drives me nuts and I find it amazing that it has not been corrected. Surely there is a way to fix it. It also sucks that the app cannot resolve IP addresses to domain names. IP addresses are not helpful to me. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Blocko uld be nice when you found a illegal address that you would be ollmmmmmmkkmmmable to block it. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Its ok You need a option to kill the remote connection. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Great Update Tracks all my outgoing connections, providing name resolution and location for each. Works properly in the background (I normally only run it on demand), can log all the information to a text file on my SD card, and even allows me to tune it to update at whatever rate I want, making it useful for long duration captures in the background without using up too much battery. For those of us who have been frustrated with the list scrolling to the top while trying to read the entries, the author pointed out to me that just clicking on any entry in the active list, as long as you don't click on its map icon, will bring up a frozen copy of the entire list at that instant, and you can scroll through it to your heart's content. Useful beyond just copying info to the clipboard. The main list keeps updating beneath it. Future update: Comma or tab delimiting of the fields in the log file. A space is used as the field delimiter, and there are spaces in some of text fields, so it's a real pain to look at a large amount of data, and it's not importable to a spreadsheet. Eye-candy only: it would be nice if the green update button in the top animated each time Connection Tracker updated. |

[2012-09-22] A Google User: HTC EVO Design 4G ? Great idea, but after purchasing "PRO" versión, I was initially unable to install... I kept getting an error message: "ERROR 'Connection Tracker Pro' could not be downloaded due to an error. (941)" I don't understand why the pro version wouldn't install, but the free version did perfectly... ? Love the concept, but hate ads and want the "PRO" functionality - - not sure how, but successfully DL "PRO" Versión: Moved unnecessary apps to SD card, checked OS for conflicts, then 15+ failed DL attempts. ~ |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Like but ... dislike how the screen jumps back to the top whilst trying to read entries lower down the list, suspect this is due to refresh interval but inconvenient having to change that back and forth each time. Otherwise excellent app |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: George Very good app |

[2012-07-15] A Google User: Works with ICS Developer is fast to respond to requests. Sports a nice map feature giving location of outbound destinations, plus it gives the process name and ports. Ability to send a log file too. Thanks for a great program. |
[2012-04-22] A Google User: Very Useful App Nice App, gives lots of information on what's connecting where and using bandwidth. Would be nice if it had CSV export. Also, why does it connect to TeliaSOnera in Germany? IP lookup? |
[2012-03-23] A Google User: INTERESTING ... .. . . .. very nice duties, simple 2 use |
[2012-03-16] A Google User: Bryan excellent app. |
[2012-03-06] A Google User: Terrible! Took over pull down menu. No options to choose when to run or how often. Samsung galaxy S 4g. |
[2012-02-25] A Google User: Works great! Nice job! Good Information of IP's and locations of the apps connecting and what they are doing also for how long? Wish there was a map location feature as the other person suggested , it would then then be perfection , and an auto killer app to stop the apps from connecting! That's what Android phones lack! SECURITY ,unless root. But good to see a Dev. Coming up with a great idea and so much more if it could stop certain apps from connecting. And map location feature.ツ |
