[2012-10-18] David: Fast and efficient. Worth the $$ Could use some more features, but I'm sure updates will add more. |
[2012-10-17] David: Seems good I used Fast Search before this, but like how this app has quick commands built in. However not all keywords, such as "toggle", seem to be listed in the help. Makes me wonder if there are other hidden keywords I could be using. |
[2012-10-16] Javier: B-) Stewie voice... Cooool! Pretty descent widget, looking forward to the updates. Good job Developers! Galaxy S2 |
[2012-10-16] Bobby: Awesome |
[2012-10-16] Matt: Excellent Time Saver This app does what it says and does it well. |
[2012-10-16] Edgar: Awesome Love the features. Would love to see the app having access to brightness settings. Also, would love to see dev compile a list of useful keywords to use conjure more efficiently. |
[2012-10-15] Masapa: Ugly widget. App does what its supposed to do. but the widget is ugly. maybe use some transparency for the black and scale down the icon. |
[2012-10-14] Tom: Does what it says it does and does it FAST This app is just what the doctor ordered to eliminate the need for remembering which home screen you parked an app. Just remember the name and Conjure finds loads it quickly. Remember a name and this app allows for one touch dialing or texting. When I tried to use Conjure with Tasker and it failed to load Tasker tasks I emailed the dev and he responded quickly with 3 suggestions to try to eliminate the problem. Problem solved when I changed a setting in Tasker. I am now down to 1 home screen, and I know how to easily and quickly get any app I want running at least as quickly and when I had to find the page the icon is on and pick it. Well worth the money. Dev is making changes even as we speak, so, unless he adds so much functionality the app bogs down, this will only get better. |
[2012-10-12] Amer: great love it. much better than having a bunch of icons on a bunch of screens |
[2012-10-11] Amisten: Great I don't know how many hours I've spent organizing my phone so I could find things. Conjure fixed that completely. Been waiting for an app like this. |
[2012-10-09] Mike: Missing something obvious. It's a great app, definitely. But, why does it completely ignore the camera? (On my GS3.) |
[2012-10-08] totalshowman: Universal search is back This app is now the only way I search for things on my phone. It has completely replaced Google's offering for me by being much faster and much better. Well worth the money. |
[2012-10-08] David: Nice As advertised. |
[2012-10-08] ministroni: Pretty Sweet. You have to set it to some easily accessible gesture or button to make it really useful, but then it's awesome. It's great that the feature for app settings was added because it lets you easily force close or uninstall things. Dev is active and adding good updates, and not overly frequent ones. Well worth the price and still getting better. |
[2012-10-08] Cou: yay dev implemented my suggestion and everything keeps getting better! |
[2012-10-08] Christian: Pretty good but please... Make the widgets more functional... As it is I might as well just have the app icon out..All the widget does is open the app without any instant functionality... They look kinda ugly too. |
[2012-10-08] Jerod: Fast Avoid slow wading through menus. Great. |
[2012-10-05] binbot: Useful for now, great things to come later? Really looking forward to more development, as this app is very useful from the start. I would love to see it evolve into a Quicksilver, Alfred, or Spotlight for Android. Until then, grab this and enjoy the quickness. |
[2012-10-04] abn: 3 stars only. Much more expected. Falls short of performance by 'Aurora', App Dialer, z launchy. It is slower in displaying Apps. |
[2012-10-02] Lauri: Nice Bug: Cant search contacts by last name, only by first name... |
[2012-10-02] Ward: Add voice input This is the best Now substitute for ICS. Great app with a new twist. Nice. |
[2012-10-02] Lee: Best search app If you are looking for an amazing universal search app with all the extras thisis it. Totally worth the money. |
[2012-10-01] Doug: Wow! The best! I've tried them all-the voice apps, launchers, etc. - - nothing even comes close to this intuitive speed demon. Once you try it out, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. Some reviewers want a widget or other fanciful improvements. I honestly don't think it needs it. |
[2012-10-01] Rachel: Useful Love the added sms option. |
[2012-10-01] Troy: Where's Voice Input? This app is great but it needs voice input to meet my needs. Please integrate local file search and Google Music playlist and song/artist results. |
[2012-10-01] n: works great dev very responsive. works on my galaxy tab 7.0 plus and brings back most universal search lost after update to ics. |
[2012-09-30] Kiel: Huge potential This app is gonna go far. |
[2012-09-30] Lasse: Amazing Conjure has changed the way I use my phone. Great app for minimalists. |
[2012-09-29] Joe: Works awesome, needs widget! I love this for finding apps I have installed but get lost in the app drawer shuffle. I use it to replace the default contacts app and just use this. Only thing is I wish there was a widget and it would be perfect. Have a search bar and a little space under for the results. Wouldn't even need to open the app then! |
[2012-09-28] kk: Very nice! So incredible fast at finding what you're searching for and the UI looks sleek , I hope you consider adding a search bar widget in the future because that's the only thing missing for this to be an awesome replacement to the official search widget, since it looks pretty messy with just a shortcut on the homescreen. |
[2012-09-28] Juan: Not bad. Great effort. Add an SMS command, and implement Android's Voice Services as a feature... and you got 5 stars from me :D |
[2012-09-28] Heikki Wilenius: works great except launch in landscape mode I would give it five stars easily, except when I slide open the hardware keyboard, the long-press on search to launch Conjure does not work any more, regardless of whether I press the search key on the keyboard or the soft key. So I need to press search first, then slide out the keyboard. It is really fast even on my older phone! |
[2012-09-28] Bradford: I like it! Asked the developer to consider adding a gps on/off control. |
[2012-09-28] Nick Berger: Anticipating updates Great start. I would REALLY like to be able to search for contacts by their last name. I was surprised this is not possible in this version. |
[2012-09-28] Tony: Very good start, lots of possibilities As others have said, this is a great start to what can be a killer app. I feel it's already worth the $1.99 I'v3e paid for it. Adding a way to quickly launch this app from where you happen to be (home screen, in another app, etc) will help a lot as will allowing me to create my own shortcuts or aliases to contacts, bookmarks, apps, etc. |
[2012-09-28] Eric: Shut up and take my $ Great app that helps with the dumbed down search. Highly recommended |
[2012-09-27] M S: Not bad It needs a widget.. And you'll be golden |
[2012-09-27] S kun: BLOODY BRILLIANT I've just been using this for about 5 minutes now and its already turning out to be something that I know I won't be able to live without! KUDOS guys on a wonderful job. 4 stars from me for now! -s |
[2012-09-27] Сергій: Dont search cyrillic Good app but Dont search cyrillic. |
[2012-09-27] R.J.: Good start to a great idea Conjure is quick and I like how it brings up volume adjustments and toggles. I would like to see more extended functionality in the commands. Why doesn't it have a "text" command yet? |
[2012-09-27] een: Awesome, very very fast |
[2012-09-25] EhMd: Rocks!, works great, goodbye dumb search forever Update: as I guessed, this app works great, finds all contacts, all apps, settings and web search basically, smart search is back one feature request - how I make this replace the default search (when pressing the search button / long press on menu in Galaxy S III) actually, I would want this to be my default voice search target now this would be just awesome. ----- I never, ever rate apps before using them, but I'll make an exception this one just based on the video, my own internal ranting for google not doing it, and my hate for the over the wire down-date that is the "dubm search". This app was just a matter of time, and being the first, having a cool video, and getting it to HN front page, deserves both a 5 star review and my 2$. if it doesn't work, I'll downgrade my rating, but it sure deserves at least one good review just for doing something so many android developers are probably stopping development of as this one beat them to it. |
[2012-09-24] Kavitha: Make life easy! I never liked the way android handled apps launch. Thanks! |
[2012-09-24] Malcolm: This is boss. I love the sliders and toggle buttons. Some of my contacts were showing up duplicated tho (same number even). I think contacts would be better as [name] [phone icon] [txt icon] [email icon] than having the same person listed multiple times. |
