Key features:
- Compass view with location display
- Places: Save your favorite places (home, work place, school, restaurant, shops, etc.) or even your car location. Navigate back to them later with Google Navigation
- Notes: Capture and view your location-based notes in your area (uses the free Catch app)
- Select the compass type and background you prefer
- Automatically save your favorite places to a Catch.com account: restore them if your phone breaks; share them among multiple devices
- Move the app to SD card.

Internet permission is used only for Google Analytics so we know which features are used the most and where to improve. There is no unique identifier tied to your usage, and your data is not shared.

Note that this app relies on the magnetometer of your mobile device so accuracy may vary.

Fun & Simple & useful I'd you're into D&D, this app is totally unrelated: perhaps the entire Catch "catch" is less than ideal-because it's mandatory of one wants to log their schtick, but above all it is simple yet that its often necessary. I think it's like almost way-cool.

Another Let Down Just like all the compasses so far, I can't calibrate it. It always tells me north is south. When will someone come up with a compass that you can manually set North and let the calibration work from that? All these figure 8 and other useless calibrations do not work if it can't correctly identify North.

Aaron Works nicely until you have to reset your magnetometer by "waving your phone in a figure 8." What kind of vague bs is that? Figure 8's big or small? Phone held flat or pointed up? No matter what I tried, it wouldn't work, with the result being me standing in the middle of the effing street waving my phone around like a lunatic.

Altitude inaccurate. Compass works great but the altitude is off with Android 4.0.2. Varies by 200 feet on ground and will not display over 19,858' regardless of altitude.

Where is north Installed this on my p6200 and north points towards west. Other compass apps and maps points correctly, this one does not. Tried calibrating, flipping phone, etc. Three stars because location works
