This is a Clojure REPL for your Android device that supports version 1.4.0 of the language.

Also included is a VimClojure server, which enables integration with an editor via the Nailgun protocol.

Fantastic for on the fly Clojure I love using the REPL on my phone and now on my Android tablet. I find it great for quickly looking up the documentation for a function. Its also great for testing out some functions that pop into your head or if you have a quick itch to scratch. Having the ability to reset and replay your functions does let you do a lot more coding. I havent explored wiring up a developer style editor to the REPL server, but that sound fun! Unless you have a keyboard attached to your device, you're probably not going to write large clojure files, but there is plenty of things you can learn. If the developers can update the version of Clojure from its current 1.2 then this app would be perfect.

I'm totally amazed! I've installed Jota editor, Hacker's keyboard, and the Clojure REPL, which can load scripts from files. On my Kindle app I have a copy of Practical Clojure. So now I can read the book and try the code, all right there from my phone and on my phone. By the way, I'm dictating this review. Actually, this is a bit scary and totally fabulous at the same time!
