CIA - Confirm Installed Apps (v. 1.5) Разработано ST2i |
*** No ads or net access required in the paid version ***
With "CIA - Confirm Installed Apps", protect your data and privacy by detecting any attempt to install and run malicious code (viruses, worms, spyware ...) on your android phone or tablet.
How it works :
Each new installed app must be MANUALLY VALIDATED, requiring a password if you set one.
Any attempt to execute (intentionally or not) an unvalidated or unconfirmed app, result in it's immediate killing and automatic start of CIA to alert you.
CIA's logo is diplayed in the system tray as it exists on your device at least one not confirmed app.
This logo also tells you that CIA is running in background to block any attempt to execute unconfirmed app.
Note :
- We recommend that you use the password protection to prevent any change in CIA database by a person who have access to your phone,
- You can allow or prohibit in one step all apps from the same publisher (based on signature recognition apps).

|
[2012-11-02] A Google User: Works I tested it and it allows for install of apps but will not launch apps until confirmed. I thought it would completely block installs but I guess its better this way so I do not have to input pw every download when using playstore. Update stopped responding as far as confirming apps. Keeps popping up to confirm even after I did aldeady. Uninstalled and reinstalled to fix issue. Further testing will be done.UPDATE: some apps can still be launched and if not confirmed first can cause CIA to constantly notify! |

[2012-10-22] A Google User: CIA Confirm Installed Apps ANWSOME |
|
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Ok, so far. Seems alright. I found it slightly obtrusive @ 1st the way it kept opening every time I opened my phone insisting I check the apps it had flagged. But it doesn't do that now that I've gone through & given the ok 2 apps that belong on my phone. |
|
[2012-09-23] A Google User: GNX Good apps to secure from someone who installed any apps without our permission but always hang. Annoyed |
|
[2012-08-03] A Google User: Pretty good, needs improvement But very helpful. I suppose since its relatively new to the market and stil not as popular as other security related apps that it works efficient than most. Thank goodness i chanced upon this before it becomes a target by hackers and malware devs. THIS THING WORKS WHERE MOST TASK MANAGERS FAIL. The trick is to not confirm all apps right away. Only the legit ones first and built in. Now watch how many apps are actively running but not reflecting on ur task managers and antivirus. Most of them, TROJANS. |

|
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Great idea This is a very needed app. Just need to be able to block apps without it appearing in notification bar. |
