CellFinder uses both the GPS and Network location services to determine where the cell tower is in relation to you. The accuracy of the tower location depends on where you are - some areas have less accurate data.

Version 1.3 includes a few bug fixes and many requested features!

It found the nearest tower (1, 3 miles away, but I'm rural) but it won't stop searching with gps on my Hero. Had to uninstall and full reboot.

Used this app 2 help TMo network engineers 2 locate bad cell site in area. Precise! BTW, not all cell sites r towers, do some research idiots.

Force closes after 30 or so secs of use. Never shows the cell site, just a line not far from my location?!

If you have any problems with force close, uninstall and install to fix it (remove data a well if that does not work)

Nice app but towers are never where the app says they are, even out in the country where u can see 4 miles...not even a tower in sight

If you encounter "invisible" cell towers, complain to your carrier for not configuring their cell towers correctly. Superb app, if visually bland.
