Prevents the Samsung Captivate from randomly turning off when fully charged. This app prevents the processor from sleeping while the battery is above a threshold you set - which stops the random shutdowns.

Tips:
* Try to keep the threshold as high as possible without shutdows, that will help your battery.
* Get a replacement phone from your carrier if you can.

Does what it says - went pro I have been using this for a while and it works. I just bought the pro. It works as advertised, but if I do not use the phone for a while - the app does not catch that the battery has dropped under the threshold and does not switch off (and drains the battery). Oh well, small price to pay.

Don't install it! It does nothing! My Captivate still shuts down after this app was installed and run. This is a fake app! I don't recommend upgrading to Android 2.3 either!

Working well Just started using this this afternoon...typically my phone shuts off almost hourly in my pocket. Almost 12 hours running and it hasn't powered down yet (KNOCK ON WOOD). Also, battery life doesn't appear to be affected at this point. Hour and a half monitoring battery only lost 3% idling.

If your phone shuts off randomly, you can get a new phone through at&t free of charge. Thats what I did works fine. The shutoff was a factory defect
