Canon Easy-Photo Print (Canon EPP) is a free application that allows you to easily and wirelessly*1 print photos from Android devices with a compatible Canon PIXMA printer via a local wireless network (Wi-Fi).  Supported printer models are listed below.
You can wirelessly scan*2  and save images from a PIXMA multifunction printer to your Android device.
In addition, you can wirelessly print PDF files created with Canon EPP to a PIXMA multifunction printer.

Nexus 7 tablet It does not let you choose the albums nor can you print off Web pages or the default gallery... I tried to hit share to Canon EPP and I got a, "no displayable images error."

Product misrepresented! I purchased this printer (MX 432) specifically because the box said I could print from my cell phone. I find out after setup I can only do so with the purchase of a Bluetooth adapter! hoped this app would allow me to print documents and emails downloaded to my phone. Totally disappointed.

Kicha totalna! PL lang: Aplikacja nie rozpoznaje wielu formatów graficznych (np. zdjęcie pobrane z facebooka nie zostało wydrukowane)!!! Brak jakiej kolwiek opcji korekty czy ustawienia zdjęcia (brak głupiej orientacji zdjęcia na papierze) , można drukować tylko surowe zdjęcia i to też BEZ FINALNEGO PODGLADU WYDRUKU. Brak możliwości przeniesienia aplikacji na kartę SD!!! Mam MG5250

Horrible for MP560 I have the Canon MP560 PIXMA. I can not print any PDFs even if I drag them directly to the Canon file. And it won't even detect my WiFi printer. Very disappointed in Canon.

Good but needs work Able to print from Samsung Note to mp560. I would like ability to rotate and crop pictures before print (black and white option would be nice as well).... I can do this in another program but would save a step in the process.

EVO 3d with ICS can print PDF without app My phone found the printer set up in my wireless network without having installed this app when I went to phones settings on a web page I came across print button which printed the web page no problem from phone to printer not previously linked together. Extremely easy for my phone to automatically connect so prior to bad review make sure you have explored all setting/options outside of app. Not yet used app

It works All I can say and in response to all the negativity is at least you can print from your phone directly to your wireless printer. I mean seriously, what do you guys want? Complete an absolute seamless compatibility between brands and wireless devices? at least canon had the decency of making an app for Android.

Limited use Samsung can do it, Epson can do it, Brother can do it, so many 3rd party apps also can do it. Why can't Canon give us an app that can print Docs and PDFs? Yes I know you can print PDFs that you scanned..... but that's so useless! If I already have the hardcopy to scan, I don't need to print!

Airprint for Android I bought yesterday instead of HP since a quick read of features seemed to indicate I could print from Android phone. But only can print JPEG photos. PDF only from scan from printer. Have been happy with Canon printers but now need to decide whether to return and get HP. Unfortunate only Apple Airprint is supported for complete printing by Canon

Misleading advertizing I bought this printer the mx980 because it was advertized on the box to print from mobile devices. Like everyone else I am stunned that I have been bamboozled and that canon is the only printer manufacturer not supporting its printers with what most people do every day and where the whole mobile market is heading. Printing documents and webpages duh...Perhaps Canon should stay with cameras and I will dump my worthless mx980 and get an epson that can print android even from dropbox , webpages google docs anc more

CANON is a printer company… You'd think a company, the size of CANON-USA, would be able to code an app correctly. All I want to do is print a webpage. Seems simple enough. Not being able to print from tablets & cellphones is becoming a major problem. I'd pay top dollar to be able to do what should be a standard feature of any OS.

Quality of wireless scans is bad Not sure why. Mx432 scans fine to pc but barely picks up handwriting when scanned to samsung tablet. Played with settings in app and settings on the printer. No dice.

Very basic You can only print PDFs which were scanned by the app, even if you put a PDF in the scan folder it refuses to print. Why make it so restrictive? Very disappointing.

canon android photo print app wireless Downloaded Canon Easy-Photo Print onto my Samsung s3 and was amazed at how simple this was to use, the printer was automaticially detected by my phone and within seconds I was able to highlight photos to print, set paper size and paper type then just printed away.. seamless I wish all my apps worked this well. I've not tried scanning yet put i'm sure this will be the same .. obviously this app requires you to have a wireless connection set up to your printer mine was Canon Mp50 working on Home wireless router - with Virgin

Don't be android biased Come on Canon either allow airsuport for android or add ability to print documents on this app. Pix and scanner is ok but 9/10 I'm going to do either of those from my pc. However being able to quickly look up a page or email and print a document on my phone would be awesome so please make that happen. Love my printer this would make it better.

Should be able to use the phone as the access point I've set-up the printer to use my phone as an access point (wifi hotspot) but when I try to connect to the printer it says wifi is turned off (because it's being used as a wifi hotspot) but I know it's possible for apps to connect to other devices while in hot spot mode because I've seen that functionality in other apps

So limited it's not worth installing The app can only print *.pdf documents scanned from the Canon multi-function printer. Can't print *.pdf files created by any other source (including other android apps). Also can't print text files or anything else you would want to print like e-mail, text messages, Word/Excel files, or web pages. This app is unless you need to: 1) Scan documents to your phone; or 2) Simply need to print photos (or documents scanned to your phone from the Canon device) from your phone.

Unable to print via OTG I have cannon Lbp 2900 laser printer which doesnot have a wifi. i try to connect using OTG cable, i am unable to print as it is not a samsung printer. Also i installed printershare which also doesnt include this model. Please help by creating a new app or adding features to this one.

T-Mobile Galaxy S III Does what it says, but that's not much. I download attachments all day on my phone and can't print them. Has to be in the gallery, or scanned directly from the pixma. Wish it did more, not really wanting to grab the laptop EVERY time!

Very efficient Great tool to have if you need a document/image right away and dont have a computer running 24/7. Just scan and run. Haven't printed yet, only had the app for less than 5 min. However the easy setup and working the first time as requested is definitely a very positive sign.

Needs normal PDF print capability This is a cool app, however it needs to have the ability to print a native PDF file from phone. Like a form downloaded from phone's browser or something. Has potential for 5 stars. Used with a Motorola Photon.

Very limited functionality Really a poor app, Canon should learn from Brother, their app is far superior and useful than this canon crap. To start, app should listen to share intents, so that pressing share from other app send contents to print app and to printer.

Very Limited but Works Only prints photos from its own indexing and PDFs that were created by this app. No other documents can be printed so no text documents at all. Canon should really expand this apps scope. 2* for waht it does work with. Update: Dumped the Canon Printer for a Samsung because this app failed to develop into anything useful. Sad because the printer is good but I need to be able to print Text documents and PDFs that were not created by the printer.

Needs Work Regular pdf printing is awkward. Scans to phone good. Prints come out 1/4th of the page instead of full page no setting to change as far as i know. Little tlc app will can be great. I was gonna dump cannon for Samsung just for printing capabilities on my gs3. Need to be able to print from browser and other apps by hitting the share button. Fyi Sgs3. Pixma mp560

Useless app You can't even print web pages like all other printers apps. All you can do is send it pictures and even then you have no control on how they print. Total waste of time.
