Byte Map creates an interactive map of pie charts that represent the sizes of files and directories on your SD card or Internal storage.
You can touch the segments to get more details on the files/directories they represent.
It allows you to easily see which files or directories take up all your space and delete those files if you want.

[2012-09-29] Dave: Nice, but tiny lines don't help. This app does what it says and it lays it out in a pie format. It's basically like other apps of this type, with a different way to look at the scan results. But the problem is, that many of the "pie wedges", or "slices" are so small,that they just look like thin, tiny lines. And since you select which folders you want to look at by tapping on them, good luck getting into (tapping) the right folder when it's bunched together with more "tiny lines"! That's why I gave it three stars. The app does work, but it can be difficult to get into specific folders from that view. That's a middle ground vote from me. :) |
