[2013-10-05] A Google User: Poor app |
[2013-10-01] A Google User: Not too good I'd need kind of configuration. My need is to toggle between 2 preset levels, not cycle all possibilities to get result. |
[2013-09-04] A Google User: Perfect Very useful. |
[2013-09-01] A Google User: Okay This.should..go.from brighter to dimmer |
[2013-09-01] A Google User: Icon looks ok but didn't work Didn't work on my HTC One X, just make the home screen very slow. |
[2013-08-10] A Google User: Micromax a110 Awesome widget simply super |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Been using this over a year now, easy to use, helps save battery power 03AUG2013. I have been using this for over a year on my HTC One-X Quadcore. It sits on the Home Screen, tap it to adjust screen brightness, adjusting to the lowest level needed helps conserve battery power. Great APP. |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: ok fine |
[2013-07-29] A Google User: Doesn't work after root Rooted today; brightness toggle does nothing. Icon updates with additional brightness indicators, but brightness of display does not react. Loved this widget previously. Sad now. :-( Droid 4, ICS 4.2.1, rooted. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Galaxy mini2 0 stars |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Double tap for auto brightness doesn't work well When I tap on the widget, the screen moves up (i think to show the menu button on the bottom since my phone only has Home and Back buttons). This makes double tap to toggle auto brightness nearly impossible. Uninstalled since I was just looking for an auto brightness toggle. |
[2013-07-04] A Google User: Works. ...Except double tap won't turn on auto brightness. |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Inop Doesn't display widgets correctly or operate. |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Galaxy S2 Widget works great. FYI the Galaxy S2 has a hidden brightness slider in the notification bar that works great but it doesn't allow you to go between manual and auto adjust settings so this widget is a keeper. See You-Tube for the hidden slider in the notification bar. |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Clean and simple I like the "lowest to highest" algorithm. Clean and simple design. Set it and forget it. |
[2013-04-27] A Google User: Excellent So simple |
[2013-04-19] A Google User: Works great Love that double-tap for auto brightness! |
[2013-04-13] A Google User: Very nice Great product. Highly recommend. :) |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Almost perfect Simple easy to use and almost perfect. Nice interface, easy to put it into auto mode. The problem I usually switch between Auto to the lowest brightness setting. The widget doesn't remember the last setting you used and you are forced to click it 5 times to get it back to the lowest setting. Configurable "step" increases would be nice. But the underlying problem here is that "auto" is too bright, if they fixed that we wouldn't need brightness apps. |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Good app |
[2013-03-13] A Google User: Fkfkc You rock |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: great! all those stages i need them thts y i love this app.. thnx (: |
[2013-02-26] A Google User: Brilliant Well thought out |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Great! Works on HTC DROID DNA. Very well. THANKS! |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Galaxy s plus ICS not working. |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: Does what it says Works great, very simple, no complaints! |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Not for me Too many brightness choices and I can't go through them quickly (from 5 to 4) since that makes it interpret as double tap and toggle auto brightness instead. |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Love it!! Gr8 .. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Works but 8 levels is not adjustable. The app works as advertised but having to tap multiple times to get to full brightness gets to be old after a while. As many reviews have said, having the ability to change to preset levels would make this a 5-star app. Using on an LG Optimus V. |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Ok I like this widget, I have most of the others on my home screen but I have to uninstall because it drives me wild having to cycle through all the brightness levels. I will probably keep checking this though to see if there has been any updates about that then will reinstall. I still give it 4 because it might not botherother ppl. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Awesome idea very easy to use. I don't have to go in display settings....it done for me in one click |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Saves a few steps when changing screen brightness. Really nice |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Works perfectly! Much better having multiple settings. The stock Android 4.0.4 was either too bright or too dim. Thanks! |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Dissappearring app I downloaded this app several times but it never appeared on my phone |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Good easy to use Nice app as you can go back to auto brightness easy and other ones only have % off 100 |
[2012-12-08] A Google User: Must have app |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Could be better Excellent app but needs Config options that so many users want |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Weak Cannot select levels, you have to cycle through them. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Icon size sucks Icon size lame. It looks misplaced next to every other app I have. They are all lined up nice and neat and this one is all wonky. |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: Not really a toggle Was looking for a toggle as in ON/OFF for brightness. This takes too long to use. Sorry. It works very well if you want to turn down the brightness gradually, though. |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Love it! All the little circle widgets are great! |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Ok Ok |
[2012-10-22] A Google User: Excellent for the HTC one x! HTC one x has a brilliant screen, but is too bright at night. The default brightness widget doesn't dim enough for late night viewing, this one does. I am pleased. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: App is invisible Unable to use cos cant find the app uni stalked cos unless. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Droid Razr M Does not work. Alas. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: perfect simple and usefull 5x |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Needs Update Used to use this ALL the time, but doesn't work on new Android device. |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Poor |
[2012-10-08] A Google User: Awsome Very helpful at night when my phone is too bright |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Subrata Good |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Galaxy S2 great works perfect |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: גאוני אין לי מילים כמה זה נוח. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: help!!! no work on Galaxy Ace.. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: Auto brightness does not work as advertised. |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: Simple and light Very easy to use |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: Misleading description 8 brightness levels are not "available", you are stuck with them. Description implies you can adjust and is misleading. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Works great, needs config opts Works great, but some configuration options are desired, even if only available in the paid version. Like steps of brightness, default manual brightness, and direction (bright to dim, dim to bright). |
[2012-09-11] A Google User: Need faster presets |
[2012-09-06] A Google User: Needs config brightness after turning off auto should go back to previous setting |
[2012-09-03] A Google User: Need remove label I know it's a brightness toggle. Get rid of the label and it is perfect. Still the best as it is though! |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Perfect Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! |
[2012-08-28] A Google User: perfect exactly what I was looking for galaxy S2 can adjust right from the icon! |

[2012-08-19] A Google User: RRR WAOOOU |
[2012-08-19] A Google User: Not very good Too many levels and no way to configure that. Flickers when changing brightness but built-in widget doesn't. Auto-brightness doesn't work. |

[2012-08-12] beebee: too many cycle level |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: Needs options It does exactly what it says it does, but it takes a while to cycle through all of the levels. I wish I could adjust/set how many levels I want. |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: Too Slow, Too Many Levels, Not Configurable. Sorry, but this is very slow to respond on my Motorola Atrix 2, and is pretty much worthless having to go through 8 levels all the time. Also, can't get auto-brightness mode to work, no matter how slowly or quickly I double-tap. The built in Android "Power Control" brightness toggle is instant and with fewer levels -- MUCH better, except that the Power Control takes up four icon spaces. If Brightness Toggle Widget worked quickly and was configurable for the number of levels, it would be an easy 5 stars. |

[2012-08-07] A Google User: WOW! Just what I wanted! The only widget I've seen that lets you set your brightness to automatic To extend your battery life. But when the light sensor gets it wrong like when using your phone as a GPS in the car you can simply keep hitting the widget until you get Full brightness. Just remember to double click the widget to get it back to auto when you get to normal lighting situations again. |

[2012-07-24] A Google User: Work as it should After the camera app always turn the screen brightness to maximum and often failed to turn it back, this is the next best thing. The double tap for auto brightness is a nice touch and work flawlessly on my HTC Sensation |
[2012-07-24] A Google User: Too many levels Faster to just go to settings rather than slowly switching through 8 levels. Would be perfect with just 3 or 4 levels - min, medium, max and auto. |
