== What is the BLN mod? ==
The BLN mod turns the touchkey backlights into a notification led.
It enables any android application to use the touchkey backlights of your phone as a notification led.

== What does this app? ==
This application gives you control over the settings of the BacklightNotification modification (bln mod) on your phone and some additional functionality.
If the BLN mod is not yet installed on your phone, then the app can refer you to instructions for the BLN mod installation.

Galaxy S2 Coming from a blackberry, this app was absolutely essential for me keeping my sanity. The only other thing that I hope for is that in the future, we could pick which of the four buttons lights up; for example, menu button for texts, home for emails, back button for social apps, etc. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it would be similar in function to multi-colored lights.

Works perfect This works perfect for me and has transformed my phone, it adds a feature that really should be standard on any modern mobile phone today. For those who have some confusion regarding the pre required files for this I will add my bit of info. You do need a BLN enabled kernel, I used cf-root, but you can get away with not using a special services file by using something like go sms pro which will allow BLN to work on text messages. So cf-root kernel + BLN pro + go sms pro equals back liight notification for text messages, you will get for missed phone calls with just the kernel and BLN pro.

Missed calls notification doesn't work on Nexus S Also SMS notification works only when the screen doesn't turn on when the message comes. The screen turning on deactivates BLN. (Nexus S with stock 2.3.4 & Netarchy kernel)

Does its job! For the most part Works great for nexus s ( on most rom's) I have some trouble with MIUI based Rome and it only blinking once then the LEDs off. Cm7 etc is perfect.

Works as described Works great on SGS 4G with the Bali kernel. Very pleased because my backlight used to be always on on my ROM (really sucks while reading & for videos), now it's under perfect control, I can set the blinking intervals, duration, schedule. Tested a few times.
