BestPlace is the Radio Signal(RF) monitoring tool for Android. It works for UMTS(WCDMA) or CDMA2000 (3G) environment. It is intended to be used at home or in your office to find out the best RF signal spot.
RF signal level changes according to the location and keeps changing by the fading effect. Do you know where is your best spot to keep your phone? Find it out and place your phone there. It is good both for reception and also for power saving.
Power reading in dB is much more accurate than the antenna pict bars. Do not miss the next call or mail.
for UMTS(WCDMA),
RSSI (Radio Signal Strength Indicator) is the only one indicator.
for CDMA2000,
RSSI, EvDo RSSI, and EvDo SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) is available.
