A simple and light-weight BPM (beats per minute) calculator. This displays the average BPM (or Taps per minute) as you tap the screen. Long-touch to reset. You can set it to calculate the BPM over a specified time frame.

best way to measure tempos This app may be meant for medicine, but I've found invaluable for measuring tempos in music. It's the best option I've found for this.

Indispensible I use it less than my stethoscope but more than my reflex hammer. It is the best way (without a cardiac monitor) to count heart rate, respiratory rate, AND frequency of tremor, as it reports Hz as well as BPM. My friends with iphones are jealous. :-)

Love it This is great for times when you don't have a watch with a second hand or there isnt a clock in the wall. I use it with one of our fetal dopplers that doesnt have a heart rate display.

Fast and quite accurate! Tried several Tap BPM apps and this is the most reliable and accurate I've found . I use it when I'm DJing to nail down the those unusual and tricky tracks and of course it's useful in many other situations. Very light on resources. A solid winner.
