Battery Calibration в Android Market

Requirements: Android 2.1+ | Root permissions

Calibration needs to be done after flashing a new ROM, but you can calibrate any time you think your battery is miscalibrated. This program does it by removing the batterystats.bin system file. The OS generates a new clean batterystats file soon, thus any fake information from the previous ROM is removed.
It's suggested, but not necessary, to let the phone fully discharge after calibration, then charged to 100% without break.

The app shows your actual battery status, and only allows you to start the calibration (i.e. removes the file) when it's fully charged, unless you force earlier calibration.
The voltage meter can be useful too. Full charge is around 4200mV.
There is an option to beep when 100% is reached so you don't have to closley follow the changes.

Thes authors electronically ignorant The problem is if the battery is only reaching 40% your device lists it as 100% and you run one of these calibrators, you've accomplished NOTHING. And they are all the same. I ran my 8 aH battert down physsically wwith a 10 watt resiisstor, recharged it and it was at 100% 2 hours later. I calibrated and it's still saying 100% afterward when as an electronic engineer, I know it is not. A better calibrator would run the battery down to nothing THEN, reset to 0% no 100.

Root your device first!? All I get is a pop up message telling me I have to root my device first with no instruction on how to do this. I tried burying it up to its neck in compost, but that didn't work either. My advice, understand your machine before installing this, am uninstalling ... hey ho, back to the old drawing board :-/

Not a bad word to say about it! Awesome app! I had a problem with my battery in that it wouldn't charge beyond 82%. After installing this app and calibrating my battery it charged to 100% for the first time in days! My battery is like new. I was going to swap out my battery for a brand new one and even install a new usb port but after using this app just once I've no need. Awesome work Dev! Keep it up! :^D

Totaly worth it! Calibrating battery (wiping battery stats) using this app gave me best results. I've been wiping my battery stats through CWM but it only worked for 1 charge, after that my battery stats became unstable just like always. This is for root users only!!!! Im a root user,and this is recommended for people who have root their devices and flash a custom rom,i know how to root a device and how to flash a new Rom,i have flash several roms in my divice and i follow the steps for battery calibration,wait to charge 100% calibrate unplug the charger and then fully drain the batery but i really don't see the change at all.... My phone drain batery like hell :/

Works fine (with a minor issue) I had a slight problem while making a full discharge - full charge cycle after the calibration, the system claimed the battery is fully charged after ~5 minutes of charging. Unplugging the charger caused the battery level to drop to 5% immediately. Not sure if it's normal after calibration, but connecting the charger the second time, I could charge the battery to its full capacity and now have a reliably working battery meter. The app has a very straight-forward interface, showing all the relevant information on a single screen and does it's job as expected. Thank you, developers!
