Convenient launcher for the mobile version of aviationweather.gov. We like this site, but can't take any credit for it. Weather graphics, radar, satellite, and METARs/TAFs/PIREPs. Enjoy!

For Android 2.0 or later: Save favorite METAR & TAF searches + multiple ids per search.

New for Android 1.6 or later: if you prefer an ad-free experience, or just want to increase the available screen space a little, you can now purchase the ad-free license for $0.99. From the app, press MENU/"Go ad-free" to connect to the Market and make the purchase. This will turn off the banner ads forever.

Does What it says it will. I use this app frequently as an airline pilot. I know I am looking at real unmodified radar images directly from the NOAA.. That simplicity happens to be a double edge sword with this app as it obviously just displays NOAA webpages instead of a true "app" interface. As a result the interface is clunky and raw. You feel like you are going to a bookmarked webpage and navigating from there. This is the only reason I am deducting a star. Simple, reliable, and FREE!

Crummy, but functional. Ad support is awful looking. User interface is an eye sore. Overall unpolished and a real bummer to use. Phones are elegant now, software is expected to be too.

Excellent app with support to match This is a great app for pilots or serious weather watchers. The "Favorites" tab allows you to quickly pull up your airports/stations which is of great assistance when planning a cross-country. The support is fast and friendly that from my experience is truly 24/7. Highly recommended, 5 Stars.

Great but lacking Great app. Works flawlessly and provides a good amount of information. However, it's missing some very important features pilots need. If you added winds aloft and prognostic charts this app would be a true home run. Still gave it 5 star because what is here is well done.

Best free radar this isn't spam I've looked and downloaded tons of weather apps this one let's you see the weather as it happens and it has local radars as well. Great app pick it up you will enjoy it. J.warfel
