[2013-09-30] A Google User: Incompatible Does not work on Nexus 4. Previously reported problems while using the app and AT&T's network in my area has actually gotten worse despite countless calls to support claiming that service is "good." Don't waste your time. |
[2013-09-20] A Google User: No evidence it really works I have used this app many times in area that has no coverage. And of course this app tells me this. I will receive a text each time saying AT&T is working to make services better. LOL! Has not happen! |
[2013-09-16] A Google User: App no longer available for Moto X or Nexus 10! Says app is incompatible with those devices! Please fix |
[2013-08-01] A Google User: Great when it was actually compatible with my devices Great if your still on 4.0.3 but for any new phone in the past 24 months it's incompatible. Update your app so I can send in the awful service at my work location. |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: incompatible I am extremely surprised that this app is incompatible with both my galaxy S3 and S4 devices. Not only that, but it is a surprise you your technical support when I call in for help; they don't want to believe me when I say that the "Play Store" says it is incompatible. I expect more from AT&T. |
[2013-06-29] A Google User: Awesome app when available This was a very useful tool on my old phone I would have rated it with 5 stars however, I recently upgraded and now it is not available for any newer android device which is dumb. Please upgrade your app to allow everyone to use it. |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Works great for me I like the interface of the app overall and it doesn't seem to kill my battery, but I think there's some bug preventing the app from opening when I click on it from the notifications bar. Other than that, great job AT&T! This is a great way to handle issues customers may have. |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Helpful but ironic Its ironic that if you are trying to report a data problem, you need a data connection to do so. And the bigger question: is this a marketing gimmick by AT&T or is this data truly being used to improve the network. The first 6 months of this year has seen steady decrease in AT&T performance. |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Now incompatible with everything Quite the enhancement. My service is terrible in Cassopolis MI, but I can't even report it because and the app is now incompatible with my GS3, GNote2, and my Nexus7. Cutting edge stuff. |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Disappointing Always loaded and running - eats up lots of battery. No way to turn off txt msg ack! |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Cannot exit Do not see any way to exit the program.once it is installed and running the icon show on top, but i do not see any way to exit out. |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Doesn't work |
[2013-05-11] A Google User: Sucks What the hell!!!!!! This sucks. Its not decent. Or bad. Its horrible |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: Update to work with 4.1.2 This doesn't work with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 |
[2013-05-07] A Google User: What's the point if it's incompatible? I was told by an AT&T Customer Care rep at a store here in Albuquerque New Mexico to download this app to my phone as I was having trouble making and receiving calls. I go to download the app to my phone and it tells me the app is not compatible with my phone. I use an HTC One X+. Thanks AT&T. Real useful. :( |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Doesn't work with my phone version says the play store |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: What? only works on old devices I loved this app on my older devices, but to be honest the fact it's not compatible with later software really ruins it! Would be nice to have an up-to-date version of this app!!! |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: Not compatible with latest update 4.1.1 |
[2013-04-18] A Google User: Always on? This app is always on and uses a lot of battery. Would work much better if it were passive. |
[2013-04-16] A Google User: Question Why is this not available on my gs3?? It worked before I had to restore my device and now says its not compatible. |
[2013-04-07] A Google User: App needs improvement Good idea but need to be improved. Issues #1 this app is a battery hog #2 AT&T need to develope a passive app to log voice and data signal strength and then submit it at the end of the day #3 it would be a good idea for AT&T to provide a small credit to a customers bill for helping to provide vital information concerning there networks performance so AT&T can provide a better service to its customers. |
[2013-04-05] A Google User: Do they even check it? To get rid of it in your notification bar go settings > application manger > find At&T mark the spot > force stop it on the GS3. I do think this app helped.. But it took over 6 months to update my area to 4G. I give it 3 stars just because they did update my towers but this app does need major help. Also says it's not compatible with my phone now. |
[2013-04-04] A Google User: H G |
[2013-03-25] A Google User: Incompatible device? I installed this app and have had nothing but trouble with it force closing and draining battery. AT&T's solution to all the bad reviews and bug reports (not just me) is to make an "update" but remove my device from the compatibility list? My AT&T Galaxy S II (SGH-I777) isn't compatible with the app... Way to take care of your customers... Silence the ones reporting issues instead of fixing the issues (with the app and the network)... |
[2013-03-24] A Google User: Works. but App crashes too frequently to be useful. Idea is good. App needs a lot more testing and QA. Classic sdlc 101 |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Battery hog It's nice to be able to report coverage and service issues and associate them with particular locations, but not worth having an app constantly hogging resources and draining the battery. Not compatible with newer phones. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: The note. Get out of att service and it does not work not regersted it network.a flip phone works, phone not so smart. Even had the store set it up. Replace I-4 with note 1 LESS SERVICE!! May go all verison sooner that later i have both. Oh and yes the lte off to help service they said.....boy big help Not. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: Well job done AT&T They do fix the cell towers because recently I report a problem on how to connect to the data network and a a couple days later they were fixing the tower where I haved a problem at they do get the job done now when I pass bye there I can connect to the internet good AT&T for once lol |
[2013-03-09] A Google User: Doesn't work with Android 4.2.2 |
[2013-03-09] A Google User: Crashes constantly Wants to run in the background but it crashes constantly so I always install it to submit the fact that I no longer get reception in my house and then immediately uninstall again |
[2013-02-28] A Google User: Worse than bad This app runs in the background, with no option to disable running in the background. Okay, that sucks, but that's not so bad, so long as it doesn't waste battery. Which it doesn't show up in my battery info, so maybe it doesn't. It would be fine by me if it DIDN'T KEEP FORCE CLOSING on me every minute or so when I'm using my phone. Though, since I shouldn't be using the app much, I could just uninstall it and reinstall it when I need it. Except, when you need the app, it's probably at a time when you can't get to a solid connection to download the app. Which renders that idea useless. Methinks that AT&T wants to look like they're listening to customers about coverage issues by putting out an app, but making that app so painful to use that no one wants to keep it installed, and thus won't report many issues because they don't have it installed and can't install it (due to bad signal) when they have the issue. Devious, AT&T. Very devious. |
[2013-02-25] A Google User: Crashes and restarts itself in the background On my phone (galaxy nexus) this app, once started, would continue to run in the background, crash, the system would notify me of the crash, the app would restart automatically, crash again, there would be another notification and so on and so forth. It was all very annoying and chewed through battery juice, so I had to uninstall it. |
[2013-02-24] A Google User: AT & T SPYWARE! No thank you. DELETED. DO they really pay attention to oir issues anyway? |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: Agreement missing It wants me to agree to something it doesn't even let me read. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Bad UI, very buggy A great concept, but it's a shame a giant monopoly like AT&T can't even get their act together to form a high quality app like this... The UI is very unpleasant and it constantly freezes in the background, giving me annoying error messages every few minutes. Please fix this. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Works But as far as running in background and stays in notification bar its horrible. I use it. Then uninstall. Each time to avoid the annoyances |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Icon Why does the icon remain in the notification bar constantly. How can I remove it? |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Always on What a waste. What nincompoop designed this garbage? |
[2013-02-14] A Google User: Keeps crashing. Keep getting a pop up even when the app isn't even open. |
[2013-02-14] A Google User: Don't like that it stays on. I don't like that the app has to stay on all the time. Also, I downloaded this app because I was having issues with calls not connecting, then go right to voicemail. The situation has not gotten better, in fact, it's gotten worse. |
[2013-02-08] A Google User: Poor design crashes constantly Horribly written app.. Skip it and save your phone and its battery. |
[2013-02-07] A Google User: Annoying Installed to report a problem but keeps popping in the background uninstalling now |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Won't Stop Running I loved the ability to try and help AT&T improve its coverage, this worked great with the iPhone app. It's a shame this one runs in the background constantly and kills battery. |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Assuming it Works Love the idea of bring able to give feedback to AT&T about coverage in a specific area about a specific feature (data or calls) The application seems to run all of the time, but I have not noted any extra battery consumption. I would like the option to set it to "always on" or "by occurrence" (I submit it) though, but maybe providing more technical info on how it worked would be nice. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Unnecessary I download it and use it when service is really bad, but uses unnecessary services and boots up on its own. |
[2013-01-21] A Google User: Turn it off I removed the app because it's constantly running and wants the GPS on so it wants me to have absolutely no battery life. |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Was a great app Will not remove from my notification bar and constantly runs. uninstalled till At&t realizes I don't need more crap draining my battery. PLEASE revise this to how it use to be when it was not sucking my battery!!! |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Runs all the time Dont download!! This app is a good idea until you realize its running all the time. Even if you kill the process it restarts within minutes. |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Sucks big time. Can't turn off the reminder that att sucks. So I uninstalled it after the force update back in June 2012. Still sucks.... |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Works but... App icon stays in notification tray at all times, have had success in improving my cell reception using this app, but 3 stars because of such an annoying and unnecessary icon always displayed in notifications. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Sucks for 4.1 Sucks for 4.1 |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Slow and not reliable This app usually shuts down after 2-3 minutes of attempting to load. It gets stuck on the Accept Decline page. With 4bars on my phone, this app still won't work. How do I mark the spot for slow download/poor connectivity when the app to mark said spot won't even load? |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: WORST APP EVER! Issues reported are never addressed. App always runs and restarts itself in the background, using GPS and sucking up battery. Even restarts after manually killing it. Very very invasive & they don't fix reported problems anyway |
[2013-01-09] A Google User: The notification icon... Honestly, the notification icon makes this app unusable. I love the concept, however. |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Battery hog. App runs all the time. Kills the battery on my Samsung S3. Not really sure why they need to keep it running. Why not allow users to submit problem without calculating all this info. Total bs. I basically delete the program until I have a problem. Then reinstall it. 1 * |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Crashes phone a lot, and needs reworking This tool used to be very useful, but now it is slow, looks horrible (doesn't scale well to HD), and doesn't submit reports anymore. It also seems to cause my Galaxy S II with the ICS upgrade to randomly reboot. Same for my Galaxy S III with ICS or the Jelly Bean upgrade. AT&T needs to scrap and redo the whole thing. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: At&t sucks This app is a must for any Att user because Att service blows, and they don't have the ability to figure out why they suck, despite their resources. So get this app and help them figure it out. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Crash city on Nexus 4 It crashed constantly on my Nexus 4, I finally had to uninstall it. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Mark the crash What to do when signal is low and the app to report it constantly crashes |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Great App Helps improve the network coverage for AT&T. |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: False hope This apparently sucks tried to assist at&t with weak areas where they lack, and guess what they still haven't helped or anything unless I buy a 200.00 unit for the house to link to my computer by a window. It is useless to try to help them and they can help me if I pay the 200.00 and extra monthly fee to upgrade my service which is already outrageous. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Inadequately Designed for the Purpose This app cannot initiate without an adequate data connection to load the EULA. There are numerous crashes and failures to submit reports when coverage is spotty or the GPS is not available. Therefore, users are unable to submit real gaps in coverage that the provider is allegedly trying to resolve. These defects in design nullify the original purpose of the application. The always-on notification icon that has no message or control becomes a 24/7 reminder of the poor design. Besides, each successful report submission seems to be answered with the generic "added cellular service to your area" response. After four years with dozens (probably hundreds) of submissions (using the iPhone version), absolutely no improvement in useful service was perceptible. |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Doesn't play nice on my rooted phone Had not had to reboot my phone in weeks, installed this and lost cell connection several times requiring a reboot... Un installed and all is well again. Verizon is calling my name. I'm on my 2nd LTE phone and can barely get reliable 3g while the rest of my family and friends are getting LTE on Verizon just south of Wash DC. |
[2012-12-16] A Google User: Won't uninstall When running, this app really eats your battery. When I went to uninstall, the app refused to uninstall despite several phone reboots |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: It's HALF okay Te app is nice for reporting network issues, but that notification is driving me crazy. Make a way to stop the app, until then I'm uninstalling it. |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Bad program Kills my battery because it's always running and has an annoying icon. The interface is crummy. Also there is no suggestion that this will help att improve service. Seems more like fyi for att |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Crashes, annoying notification Crashes when running diagnostics and submitting reports if data connection is bad. Only works if connection works, which makes the app completely pointless. The persistent notification is annoying, takes up place in the status bar, and doesn't do anything when clicked. Why is it even there? |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: HAHAHAHA! AT$T's network sucks so bad they have to have a freaking app for this! Hilarious! Why do idiots pay for no service!?! |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Its Anoying! Its in my status bar, and reminds me all the time! :( |
[2012-12-02] A Google User: Can not close app This app stays open and will not close. I dont like anything i can not close or turn off. It needs to be able to close out after using it. I will uninstall |
[2012-12-02] A Google User: Crashes on Nexus 4 The app keeps crashing every few seconds on the Nexus 4 with Android 4.2.1. |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: It's a great app... The app does what it's supposed to. And when my service ever fails I can easily report it. If I can better my service and get LTE everywhere faster around the U.S. why not extend a helping hand. |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: My art It seems to work very well ladies&gentleman. |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Constant notification Constantly force closes then opens and closes etc. On Jelly Bean. |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Icon remains lit - can't turn it off I'm not opposed to this running in the BACKGROUND, but it should be a background app. Instead, it forces itself to appear at the top of my phone, and restarts itself even after killing it. The only way to make this go away is to uninstall, so, 3, 2, 1 - it's gone. |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Borderline useless, force closes and reboots phone. I like the idea of what this app is trying to accomplish such as an full disclosure carrier IQ app. However the app has forced closed and next reboots the device and few times so I'm uninstalling. The annoying bright orange icon is also undesired. |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Responsive At&t pays attention. I always notice quick improvements. |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: Don't work with Jellybean 4.2 I had to uninstall this app. When my phone updated to Jellybean 4.2 the app kept giving errors and stopped working. Been using it for a year an the areas that I loose single still don't work so what's the point. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Not useful Crashes a lot. Takes forever to load. Useless app, att doesnt even use this info I bet. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: No exit No option to exit and shutdown. |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Shouldn't run always This app shouldn't be running all the time. |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: WiFi database out of date and map update speed too slow |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Doesn't do anything Every day I submit slow or No data activity and it never changes and when I go to leave a comment The app force closes. |
[2012-11-03] A Google User: Constant notification icon This stupid thing stays in your notification bar... 1 star until its not... |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Don't know if you care that feedback or not I've used this program before and it has not improved my signal 1 bit still waiting on my 4g service but I guess it is never going to hit Myrtle Beach South Carolina 29579 |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Doesn't work without service, catch 22 For app to load you need working data connection. Map fails to load otherwise and causes ANR. The 'diagnostics' for slow connection crashes the app when connection is too slow. Submitting results crashes the app if there is no working connection. Combined with the always on notification, this app is pretty pointless and a complete disappointment worthy AT&T's bad network in San Francisco. |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: Ineffective and always runs New update is terrible and always runs icon is annoying |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Not happy. Don't like that this is on.all the time. Sony Ericsson. |
[2012-10-19] A Google User: I hate it Its always freaken on.... |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: App doesn't mean AT&T will fix service issues This app doesn't result in service issues being addressed |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: New version sucks Try Sensorly instead. It has configurable options, something AT&T doesn't think is necessary. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Love it! I like being able to communicate to the powers that be, where they're lacking service. They pride themselves as having everywhere but surprisingly we have our most trouble in our home. This allows me to tell them. |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Great way to help improve AT&T's network This is an excellent way to inform AT&T about problem areas in its network. This app gives you the power to be heard. No automated prompts or foreign operators. Help AT&T continue to improve its network. !!!Please remove the notification icon!!! |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Newer versions kill GPS No e that app can report droped calls, no data, etc. But recently causes GPS to not work on Google Maps and several other apps. Uninstalled it and GPS works again. Tried reinstall but is definitely the problem. Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket with AT&T ICS upgrade. |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: On all the time No way to turn it off. Except to delete it, so I did. |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Unacceptable I was actually recommended to use this by a good friend of mine that works for AT&T. I trust him, but I don't trust ATT. The app is constantly running and it requires my GPS to stay on so that the app can track my location. A little icon stays in the upper left hand corner of my phone. I cannot remove it. I have horrible reception at home. So horrible in fact that I can't even use data. This makes the app USELESS because it can't even determine my location in order to send an accurate report to ATT. DELETE |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Truly deserving of the AT&T moniker. Locks up as frequently as calls are dropped. It should resolve location when opened but instead it requires you to manually update location. Buttons are small. A half attempt app. Gave it one extra star because it makes me feel like they might actually use the information to improve something. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Annoying in the notification bar. Takes up space and seems to have little affect on things at&t thinks about fixing. I would keep it if you could hide the icon. |
[2012-10-08] A Google User: Very poor |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Amazing Submitted a report for bad service at my house and now im getting 4-5 bars and great service. ATT has stepped it up! |
