AppExtractor is a tool which will allow you to restore individual applications, data, SMS, and MMS messages from your ROM Manager backups.

AppExtractor is compatible with ClockworkMod Recovery 5 backups as well as backups created by previous versions of ClockworkMod Recovery.

This version of AppExtractor is free, but limits you to restoring 5 applications at a time. You can purchase the AppExtractor Key to remove this limitation and be receive future options that will be added.

Great App Great App... Nice job man. Appreciate you donating your time and knowledge. If your thinking of giving this app a shot, just read the description, and don't expect results while using an unsupported recovery. Works as advertised! I'd give ya ten to make up for some of those one star ratings doled out by lesser ranks of the android community if I could. Maybe you should add a "literacy required" warning in your description! Thanks again!

Did not work for me I wanted to use this app for one feature only. I use Titanium for my other needs. I just want to restore SMS from nandroid backups really quick. I know I can do that in Titanium but it can be slow at times doing that since my messages backups get pretty big

Real cool app A cancel during the extraction process or a confirmation before beginning the process would be nice. I clicked the wrong button and now I'm waiting. I only wanted one file from the back up lol. I thought it would be possible to browse the nandroid backups. I'm only looking for an image I had as my home screen background. Works with Nandroid Backups too I just restored an APK and their data from a Nandroid backup and it worked perfectly.

Make sure backups are CWM5, not CMW6 If you can not get this to work again after a recent ROM install, that is because you have updated your Clockwork Mod Recovery to version 6 or above. AppExtractor only supports up to CWM 5 for now. Save the headaches and you can downgrade the recovery from ROM Manager. Then backup again, install your new ROM, reinstall AppExtractor, and the you are good to go and restore your goodies. Best app for people who love to ROM the crap out of Android! ;o)

Needs Jelly Bean support Whenever I try to restore my apps it says that it cannot scan the images. TWRP is supported so it can't only be TWRP. Please update!

Used to work great I've been using this app for a long time and love it. However it is no longer of much use for restoring after a new ROM flash. It needs to be updated to work with the new clockwork backup method. Titanium works for those that needs something that works.

Saves Time This app makes up for any of my forgetfulness. Easy to use and no backing up besides nandroid. Before this,I used multiple backup programs to make sure I didn't miss anything, but still did. It seems basic because it is so easy to use

Saved the day! Had some important information that I had lost when I forgot to backup. Had a nandroid backup however and this is probably the greatest fail-safe application on the Google Play Store. This app worked as advertised.
