App List Backup в Android Market

App List Backup (v. 1.0)
Разработано Pun Software

Saves the list of installed apps so you can re-download them from the Market later (on the same or another device). This way apps still show up in Downloads and receive updates (unlike with MyBackup Pro).

The idea is NOT to back up non-Market apps or to save you from re-downloading apps, so please don't rate negatively due to that.

best file manager seen, oddly unknown very well thought out ui and functionally. my only suggestion is to put bookmarks as another column in menu, so they can be opened in 2 touches instead of three.

Simply Essential Clear and effective backup list. Works when all else fails. Google's app backup totally failed when I did a factory reset, but this saved the day.

Soso Its only the list like is saying so if crashed and no web access you can not reinstall it uses the market for reinstalling and what if you do not want certain upgrades on some apps. If you go to market google saves your list of apps anyway so whats the point of this app.

Great... I think I tried this before resetting my phone and it worked great. I backed up and copied it to my pc, just in case. I have put the file back on my phone because apparently the sd card got erased. When I try to restore, it can't find the file. Great program, but a backup file from my pc should work!

Doesn't Work Did a backup because I had to reset my phone. Now the app can't find its own backup file on the SD card, even though it's clearly there. Emailed their support link and it bounces back--no such email address.

Makes the most sense Although App List Backup created it's list on my LG Optimus Elite's internal memory, instead of SD card, I did make a copy of the .alb file to the sd card and to my pc (in case phone was lost). Uses small amount of memory in any event. There is hardly any data on my phone that I care about (contacts and photos are already backed up through GMail/Google +), so that is not an issue. I just wanted an easy way to produce a list of apps that I had on the phone, in the event the phone is lost or crashes. App list backup not only produces a list, but also provides the links to re-download the apps.

haven't used yet so giving 4 stars It is ROM update time again, so I looked for programs that would save my app list- , just like this one does. I did not just want to back up all the .apk files since at least now I know which apps I should not have bothered downloading. Taking a suggestion from the comments I am going to back up the back up list to my PC before nuking my phone.: ). Wish me luck!

Needs option to choose save location This app only saves files to the internal sd card, which is useless for android 2.3 & above on the higher end smartphones because the external sd card is not under /sdcard , its under /sdcard/external_sd . Resetting a phone has the potential to erase the data for the unwary.

Perfect! Does just what I wanted it to, thanks! Backed up a list of installed apps so that I can re install on new phone without hunting for them. To re-install, run a backup on new phone to create directory, then delete the copy of /AppListBackup/apps.alb it has just created and copy the one you wish to re-install from in there. Run the app, select ' restore' and you should find a list of your old apps. Worked for me...

Big time saver Saved me a lot of time and headaches when I had to factory reset my phone. Restoring from your Google account only works for paid apps, not all the free ones you accumulate. (Note: this isn't actual app backup - it just backs up a *list* with handy links to re-download each from Market.)

Didn't work on my SGS2s Installed app, check all, backup. Moved sim and sd card to phone 2. Factory reset, setup wizard, install this app, restore. It says 'No backup found'. The factory reset didn't erase anything from the sd card.
