App List Backup (v. 1.0) Разработано Pun Software |
Saves the list of installed apps so you can re-download them from the Market later (on the same or another device). This way apps still show up in Downloads and receive updates (unlike with MyBackup Pro).
The idea is NOT to back up non-Market apps or to save you from re-downloading apps, so please don't rate negatively due to that.

[2012-12-17] A Google User: Sync So we can download from our account on another cel |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Useful Simple and very useful app |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Error pop up when i opened it Galaxy nexus |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Thanks Thanks again |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: My touch 4g 2.2.1 t mobile usa SoCal. Save a list of your apps just incase you need it. Smallest size of it's kind. Doesn't run in background. |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Works, but not more than that Store list in non-readable format. But the advantage - the list is small Zemna AppList Backup is better - beautiful, list as xml, multiple lists, can send it |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Not much point Saves the data in a non-text format and requires you to click on every app you want to reinstall. I might have well have written them down manually. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: best file manager seen, oddly unknown very well thought out ui and functionally. my only suggestion is to put bookmarks as another column in menu, so they can be opened in 2 touches instead of three. |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Simply Essential Clear and effective backup list. Works when all else fails. Google's app backup totally failed when I did a factory reset, but this saved the day. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Very helpful I hate switching phones but this makes downloading everything easier |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Not bad Does what I wanted - and what is described ... Would prefer an option to get plain-text output, however. |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Almost there... Needs a few more things: 1. Check/Uncheck All option 2. Print list 3. Send list to text file |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Great! Does exactly what it says. Saves and then opens a list with selected apps with the option to click on the name and be taken to the app's page on the market! |
[2012-10-04] A Google User: Awesome back up I change ROMs a lot and this app is the best way to restore apps without screwing up the rom with an intrusive restore like titanium. Especially when moving between different flavors (GB vs ICS vs JB) |
[2012-09-30] A Google User: More useful than it seems It magnifies. It is a flashlight. It peeks into dark holes and cracks. It shows you what is over a wall or around a corner. |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: Great! |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Like the app Like the light weight and simplicity of the app. Does what it says. Just need an option of not having to go to market for individual app and to multiple select and batch install. I don't know if this is even possible. Still, no qualms. |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: Perfect It's all I needed! |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: A must have Better than backing up the apps themselves, because you know you always get the latest and the greatest |
[2012-09-11] A Google User: Soso Its only the list like is saying so if crashed and no web access you can not reinstall it uses the market for reinstalling and what if you do not want certain upgrades on some apps. If you go to market google saves your list of apps anyway so whats the point of this app. |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Best Best app |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: Works well Works well. Brings you right to the download page for each app. Would be nicer if it automatically downloaded the apps for you. But this is easier than searching the market for all your stuff. |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Very good Thanks |
[2012-08-13] A Google User: Appears useless After reset of T-Mob G2, the restore function produced a blank list of apps. |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: KISS Complies to the Keep It Simple and Stupid approach: does one thing and does it perfectly, for which we love it! No fancy animations, no excess rights, simple and straightforward interface. |
[2012-08-02] A Google User: Free Saved my butt when I had to reset my phone |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Not very useful a lot of apps were left out from the list |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Great... I think I tried this before resetting my phone and it worked great. I backed up and copied it to my pc, just in case. I have put the file back on my phone because apparently the sd card got erased. When I try to restore, it can't find the file. Great program, but a backup file from my pc should work! |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Best Redesign the icon would be better, and i give 5 stars |
[2012-07-26] A Google User: Great app |
[2012-07-23] A Google User: Does what is says. Perfect! |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Don't waste your time on this Instructions are poorly written & don't explain all of the hoops you have to jump through to reinstall your apps. Highly recommend using Root Uninstaller instead. |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Galaxy s3 Very good |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: App List Backup You should AT LEAST make your OWN APP installable on the SD card. Two stars for a major mistake. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Prasad Very much needed this. App |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: Backed up list, transfered sd card to New phone, get message saying "no list available" useless..... |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: Does what it says Could use added features (for example, select all) |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: José A. "...ev...bit...helps...thanks..." |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Almost perfect Would it be possible to color code the restore list to show what is installed/restored on the phone? The developers email address listed on this page does not work anymore. |
[2012-07-02] A Google User: Doesn't Work Did a backup because I had to reset my phone. Now the app can't find its own backup file on the SD card, even though it's clearly there. Emailed their support link and it bounces back--no such email address. |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: nice small app seems to store in proprietary format. myappalist is better |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Use this for restoring apps Easy way to restore apps |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: Awesome Thank you. Simple & Awesome |
[2012-06-25] A Google User: Simple and perfect Just what I was looking for - no fancy options. Thank you. |
[2012-06-24] A Google User: Makes the most sense Although App List Backup created it's list on my LG Optimus Elite's internal memory, instead of SD card, I did make a copy of the .alb file to the sd card and to my pc (in case phone was lost). Uses small amount of memory in any event. There is hardly any data on my phone that I care about (contacts and photos are already backed up through GMail/Google +), so that is not an issue. I just wanted an easy way to produce a list of apps that I had on the phone, in the event the phone is lost or crashes. App list backup not only produces a list, but also provides the links to re-download the apps. |
[2012-06-13] A Google User: Good but... Shouldn't this also list the name of this app? |
[2012-06-11] A Google User: Not for me |
[2012-06-09] A Google User: Fantastic Extremely handy for when ROM needs to be updated / restored. |
[2012-06-04] A Google User: I like it s lot Had my sys lock up & had to do a hard reset & had to "remember" which aps I had... Now I will have a list to refer to! |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: Aura77 very simple to use this app |
[2012-05-29] A Google User: Used to be my fav I love this app, and it saved me wast amount if time so far, since I move a lot between phones. With ICS lacking a HW menu button, I couldn't "select all" on the backup screen :( could be 5 stars, great work! Thanks. |
[2012-05-22] A Google User: Great Skyrocket...1 request. Ability to specify save location. |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Great Simple to use and made getting a replacement phone a lot less frustrating. Thanks. |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: SDcard? Not bad, lacks info about app if saved no idea indicated on items, does just list them, no data. Program wont go to sdcard and list those. Still looking. |
[2012-05-10] A Google User: Helpful I likely use too many apps. This is really helpful when changing things about. |

[2012-04-11] A Google User: Backup list & reinstall frm play mkt Awesome that I could use myy old list from sd card to reinstall apps with new play market version. Thanks |
[2012-04-09] A Google User: Best for the list backup This one is light, simple and easy to use. Doesn't waste your SD space on usually corrupted app backups and failed settings. It just stores the market link for the apps - simple and perfect. |
[2012-04-06] A Google User: Awesome App! Great App: ) |
[2012-04-03] A Google User: Best tool Simple, yet the by best tool for moving between devices. |
[2012-04-03] A Google User: exactly what i need |
[2012-03-30] A Google User: haven't used yet so giving 4 stars It is ROM update time again, so I looked for programs that would save my app list- , just like this one does. I did not just want to back up all the .apk files since at least now I know which apps I should not have bothered downloading. Taking a suggestion from the comments I am going to back up the back up list to my PC before nuking my phone.: ). Wish me luck! |
[2012-03-22] A Google User: simple and works |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: Works well I have used it several times to restore my phones after a reset or upgrade |
[2012-03-18] A Google User: Needs option to choose save location This app only saves files to the internal sd card, which is useless for android 2.3 & above on the higher end smartphones because the external sd card is not under /sdcard , its under /sdcard/external_sd . Resetting a phone has the potential to erase the data for the unwary. |
[2012-03-16] A Google User: nice nice |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Useful Very useful for upgrading or resetting a phone. |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: App backup restore list I had this on my LG Optimus S @ ksme , hopefully I'll be able to recover my apps from the market as stated on your descriptions! Now have Galaxy S II & I used your app to insure my apps could be restored from the market!! |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: Good to have, it does what it says |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: Does it's job Good |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: Perfect! Does just what I wanted it to, thanks! Backed up a list of installed apps so that I can re install on new phone without hunting for them. To re-install, run a backup on new phone to create directory, then delete the copy of /AppListBackup/apps.alb it has just created and copy the one you wish to re-install from in there. Run the app, select ' restore' and you should find a list of your old apps. Worked for me... |
[2012-03-11] A Google User: Did not work. No list. Used to create app list before a reset, but after reset there is no list to restore from. I had even removed the sd card before resetting . Bummed. |
[2012-03-09] A Google User: Make a better looking icon Does a good job but the icon is too ugly |
[2012-03-05] A Google User: Big time saver Saved me a lot of time and headaches when I had to factory reset my phone. Restoring from your Google account only works for paid apps, not all the free ones you accumulate. (Note: this isn't actual app backup - it just backs up a *list* with handy links to re-download each from Market.) |
[2012-03-03] A Google User: Great! Works wonders when I have to reinstall everything after a reset or mod update! Helps a ton! |
[2012-03-01] A Google User: excelent Does what it sayss. |

[2012-02-14] A Google User: Razr It won't work on moto razr |
[2012-02-12] A Google User: Works as described,(thought I haven't tested the re-download) |
[2012-02-12] A Google User: Time saver Time saver. Awesome |
[2012-02-12] A Google User: Didn't work on my SGS2s Installed app, check all, backup. Moved sim and sd card to phone 2. Factory reset, setup wizard, install this app, restore. It says 'No backup found'. The factory reset didn't erase anything from the sd card. |
[2012-02-08] A Google User: Gj Exactly what I was looking for :) |
[2012-01-28] A Google User: , Add option to save list in .txt. |

[2012-01-17] A Google User: Sometimes the simplest ideas are the brilliant ones. Great idea. Time saver and awesome when you get a new phone. |
[2012-01-12] A Google User: Best app...does what it says perfectly. Keep up the good work. Thank you. |
[2012-01-09] A Google User: Useless Only saves one app even when select all. |
[2012-01-08] A Google User: Great. However I really trully wish I had the option to add an app onto the list I already have. That would make it 5 stars. Evo |
[2012-01-03] A Google User: Galaxy Nexus - Very useful. Would be great to see which apps currently installed that have not been backed up yet. |
