let's be honest. there are no supporting features. It's another notepad app at best. If you want a code editor, try html editor.

Your apparently doesn't know how to read a file without an extension. That isn't the Linux way, it's the windows way.

Had my hopes up, but sticking with Text Edit. Too confusing to open a file when file/folders aren't ordered by type or alpanumeric. Smooth out scroll.

As a plain text editor, aPad is the best currently available for Android. But, it lacks basic features like font options and a good save dialog.
