This application easily, securely connects your Android device to a Buffalo AirStation wireless router with Wi-Fi.
Follow the instructions in the wizard on your Android device, then press the AOSS button on the wireless router. All security (encryption) settings are configured automatically.

- Exit all other running applications.

[2012-09-15] A Google User: Sometimes hijacks your phone- avoid! As other reviewers have posted, you don't actually need this app- others will do the job just as well. Most notably though is the permissions this thing needs, which it simply shouldn't. Seriously, take a look at the list of things it is allowed to do- things totally unnecessary for the task. Enough to allow it to hijack your phone, which it tried on me about an hour ago. App is now uninstalled, and nothing by Buffalo will be going on it again! |
[2012-09-12] A Google User: It's okay It is helpful |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Nice app. It's cool |
[2012-08-23] A Google User: Won't stay connected I stand near the router, Start the AOSS connection, it connects, performs everything it's suppose to and about 3 minutes later the connection is loss, did it about 5 times with the same results. Why can I not connect the normal way instead of having to use their special connection? |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: New version? Will there be a version that works with jelly bean soon? 2.0.1 doesn't work! |

[2012-06-20] A Google User: Made my life easier Thank you Buffalo. AOSS makes it easy. Worked the first try on my Galaxy 2 Tab. I dont understand what some of these people are crying about. Guess that some were just born to complain. |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: AOSS WIFI CONNECTION FOR ANDROID Worked FIRST TRY! I'm wowed. THANKS BUFFALO FOR PUTTING THAT INFO FOR AOSS FREE APP PM THE BOX. It's a lifesaver for new users like me. |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: I don't know why I need this app. Buffalo router is great. But we could simply use native Android's WiFi management settings (simply scan, chose your buffalo router's name, and enter the key/password) to completely replace what this app does. |
[2012-06-03] A Google User: Why so intrusive? Typing the information from the label of the router was just as effective without sending my phone number to who knows who. What are all the privileges needed for. Definitely not for getting a WLAN connection set up. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: doesn't work on a xoom I have a buffalo network, and router cable modem and multiple NAS drives all buffalo linkstation pros. tried this asp out on the zoom and defy, and neither worked! however both zoom and defy auto paired manually without any problems! so goes to show manual still is the best! I have deleted this asp as it did nothing at all.. tested 5 times.. finally right next to the router and still done nothing ummmmm |
[2012-04-08] A Google User: Crashes every time Press the AOSS button and the app immediately crashes every time on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. Can't recommend this app at all. |
