AndFTP is a FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP client. It can manage several FTP configurations. It comes with both device and FTP file browser. It provides download, upload, synchronization and share features with resume support. It can open (local/remote), rename, delete, update permissions (chmod), run custom commands and more. SSH RSA/DSA keys support. Share from gallery is available. Intents are available for third party applications. SCP and folder synchronization are available in Pro version only.

Transfers die when running from the background Switching to another task while downloading or uploading seems to result in a dead connection and truncated files... Other than that, it works perfectly if you let it monopolize your device while transferring.

Couple of things I'd like to see, but still the best FTP app around. I would like to see a sort option for the ftp list, make it where we can drag saved ftp servers to rearrange them, or the very least for it to automatically sort the ftp list alphabetically. It can end up looking vert messy and in disarray even with 3 or more out of order servers in there. I would also like to see a rename option for the entries in the ftp server list, although copy, save, enter name, delete old is better than nothing. All in all best ftp app out there. Period.

Broken by recent updates This used to be a really good app for ftp. But since the last-but-one update it now routinely crashes after transferring a few MB. I hoped the latest update would fix it, but still totally unreliable :-(

Great simple FTP I have been using this app since I first had an android phone. It works really well, and is a good simple solution to transfer files both at home, or over the internet. My phone needs to be kept awake to ensure transfers complete, not sure if setting it to.complete stay awake in settings would probably solve this.

A bug I depend on AndFTP for my ftp needs. But ever since the last update, AndFTP "completes" an upload without actually uploading. So I have to upload again until it uploads properly.

Buggy I have set the local folder still keeps downloading to the root of my internal SD card! Download speeds are low even though the FTP server is on my LAN. AndSMB was good while I had a samba server running on my router, now I have switched to FTP and this client doesn't work as well as the samba client did.

Best FTP Client I've tried several FTP client apps that are apparently compatible with my HTC Sensation phone and Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab. This is the first that actually works with both and I love it. Well done to the development team :-)

Sync issues Great except it wont sync at specific time. I bought the apparently for this very purpose and it just doesn't work. I set 2 am and it syncs at 8am etc... forrrum didn't really help to resolve the issue either.

Very Handy with a GUI Nice GUI with multiple server support. I like the delete function so I can clean up my media server remotely, but I wish it had copy and move actions as well. I have to do it through a terminal or when I'm on my LAN, both in a different app, right now.

An Android must have Of late it looses connection to server after a while and only way to reconnect is by disconnecting then reconnecting. Not a good thing if you had multiple files selected, awaiting transfer. But still my favourite app!!

A little bit of a struggle to get but really fast and lots of feayures for a free app Set up is pretty simple if you have ever configured a ftp of sftp viewer before. I do like how if gives the active command window on the bottom of the screen so that it let's you know exactly what the app is doing. Great app

Transfer file btw tablet and computer so efficient I give you 5 stars. I use this app to transfer file from Android to my PC. It is so easy, just top share and choose and FTP, The file is transferred to specific folder in the computer. I often send image note, which I made on normal paper and then be captured by camera, to PC.

Saved our company from a major bug This app is perfect! We accidentally deployed a critical bug in our production servers while I was away from any PC. I was able to SFTP in to our servers and make the necessary changes with this app without too much difficulty. Worked great and saved us significant trouble.
