OK-ish I can turn it up to 30 degrees before the needle adjusts again. It seems to be good at picking up large changes, but filters out cumulative small ones to the point where it can be out by too much. Also, needing to know where North is to calibrate is seems a little clunky.

Sweet and simple Does the job and doesn't demand network access.

Simple but effective Easy to read display. Calibration mode. App does not require any permission unlike some other compass apps. (Why would a compass app need access to personal info and browser history?)

Tried using it, even after calibration, it still has trouble finding north. Samsung captivate.
