[2013-01-20] A Google User: Won't save data for your cars!! It seems really interesting and was looking forward to using it, but it won't save the required custom performance specs I spent a while locating for my 1991 Roadmaster. It wants to email the car's info off, but it is being denied and returned. The app says that you can update the specs and lets you push the button and it seems to save, but it's not there, just an Audi and a Camaro. If your car is one of the few in the database you'll probably be fine. Also it has pop-ups 'helpful hints' every time that you navigate to a new window, check the settings, or do pretty much anything in the app. They close easily and aren't ads, but the exact same hint will be back in a few seconds. You have to upgrade to the paid version to get them to go away. It's a rude way to get people to buy. Just remove some features (they won’t work anyway…), don't make the free one overly annoying. I didn't get to test it out though, so don't know how accurate it may or may not be... Hopefully they upgrade and fix it, but it looks like they may have fled the country, lol. |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: hard to use but it works First of all this app is buggy and it crashes frequently. Power measure is seperate from 0-60 test, unlike dynolicious app. Measuring power accurately is tedious and involves having to know precisely your gear shift speeds in mph at certain RPM. I wish i could measure power and 0-60 at same time. However once you get it right you get good results for power. i found the torque estimates to be useless and very inaccurate though. also Its also very hard to know which vehicle you have selected and added. |
[2012-09-29] A Google User: Crashes EVERY time I try to use it!!! |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: RATING SUPER DUPPER! |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: aDyno is abandoned? Won't calibrate on my Atrix. Emails to dev bounce. User forum just full of spam. Seems like a cool idea, but looks like the project is dead. |
[2012-08-19] A Google User: Won't calibrate Seems like a cool app, but won't calibrate on my DX2. I let run for about 15 minutes, but it never left stage 1. Keeping my eye on it, hoping for a fix. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: G man G meter very accurate |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: What do you expect? Compared this app to an actual dyno using my Stg3+ Twin-Screw S/C'd BMW 328CI and actual RWHP/TQ = 412.9RWHP and 398.5RWTQ. This app says 342bhp and 311ftlbs. Actual 0-62mph is 4.187sec, this states 4.6s. Actual lateral accel is 1.341G, this says 1.05G. What do you expect from a free app vs 10s of thousands in equipment? If you actually race, you likely have access to proper equipment. This is useful for riced out Civics with $2k worth of intake/exhaust/springs looking to feel better about their car. |

[2012-02-07] A Google User: Its fun to play with but horribly unaccurate. PITA to calibrate, I lay it on a flat surface but never goes to step 2. And I'm sure I don't have 11,276 hp @ 9000 rpm. It'd be nice though lol! But fun in the rain to trick friends |
[2011-08-29] A Google User: SUCKS I'm sure 21,474 mph is not possible in 76 Camaro. |
[2011-08-22] A Google User: I doubt the accuracy! According to this my '96 BMW 1.6 has 296hp @ 4000rpm!!! I WISH!! |
[2011-08-08] A Google User: Spot on. Accurate repeatable results, 9.5 9.4, 9.8, 9.1 sec for 0-100km/h. Speed exactly matched speedometer. Only problems when not configured proper |
