AdvancedLauncher is a home replacement which is based on the original Launcher (Home).
It adds possibilities like adding submenus to the tray launcher and hiding apps from it.

Create a submenu (menu -> more -> create submenu), open it from tray and drop apps from the tray into it.

I installed this on cyanogen 4.2.11.1 (donut) and had no problems at all. This app allows me to finally hide useless icons from the launcher drawer.
