Folder Organizer (v. 3.6.6) Разработано Fabio Collini |
Group items according to labels and create fully customizable folders and widgets. You can organize apps, bookmarks, contacts and shortcuts
+ Change folder icon, icon pack support
+ Sort folder items any way you like
+ Make app shortcuts with custom icons and names
+ IconFinder support: search for new icons on the web
+ Put items in notification bar
+ Scrollable widgets
Tutorials are available in official site www.folderorganizer.net
Permissions are needed to read contacts and bookmarks, create direct call shortcuts and download new icons.
Folder Organizer can't be moved to sd card because it contains widgets (see Android documentation for details).
Please restart your home replacement or your device if you see wrong icons on home after a version update

[2013-08-10] A Google User: Uninstall problems When I uninstall an app, Folder Organizer doesn't recognize it as uninstalled and continues to leave it in my folders. Also saying I haven't purchased the full app. Please fix this permissions issue. |
[2013-08-09] A Google User: Problem with Nexus 7 (2nd Gen)... There seems to be a problem with Folder Organizer and the new Nexus 7 (2nd Gen) running JB 4.3. The problem isn't specifically with JB 4.3 because I have a Nexus 7 (1st Gen) running JB 4.3 and that works fine. When I install Folder Organizer on the N7 2nd Gen, it seems to work fine for a bit, then I get the message "Unfortunately, the Launcher has stopped". When this happens, I can task switch to an app that was previously running, but I can't get to any of the home screens. If I try to shut down and restart the N7, the error occurs instantly upon reaching the home screen. I uninstalled Folder Organizer and the problem went away. Hopefully you can get this fixed soon. It might have something to do with the 1920x1200 resolution of the new N7 since I've noticed other apps having re-sizing issues. Not sure. UPDATE: I believe Folder Organizer crashes the main launcher the first time the device changes orientation; whether changing it from the home screen, or exiting an app that brings you to the home screen in a different orientation than the one you launched the app from. |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: What happened? It used to be much more usable, now it's a nightmare just to create a simple folder, now it's impossible. |
[2013-07-27] A Google User: Great Still the best |
[2013-07-27] A Google User: Simply the best. |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: Great app Been using for years last update had to uninstall on Note 2 & import data now doesn't crash, on TF300T just keeps crashing. Managed to find old back up & now running old 3.4 version. |
[2013-07-23] A Google User: A Must Have This app is so useful and well made, its amazing I'm just now rating it, I've had it for years and its so intergrated into everything I do, this is is a APlus Productivity app. ITS WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE. For Real.. Perfect for those who lke Customizating their phone through organizational means. I guess some are experiencing bugs, I hevent noticed any major, unfortionate cuz I hold this app in supreme regards. |
[2013-07-19] A Google User: Fabulous Perfect for app, widget and shortcut organisation and no lag at all!! Keep up the good work! |
[2013-07-19] A Google User: What's the app drawer?? I've been using this for years, and I barely used the app drawer. Two taps for my most used apps. Three taps to get to the rest that are in sub-folders. The bloatware is hidden. Everything is easy to find. Do you have a laucher with swipe actions on the dock? (I swipe on camera for my picture apps.) Can you override a hard/soft button? (Access your apps from anywhere) |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Fix this.. Says I'm not licensed which is false... can't use the app unless having internet to validate...that's crap to do to your paying customers just because there are some who abuse it. |
[2013-07-03] A Google User: Old: Once a must have. New :wtf happened? Junk now. |
[2013-07-02] A Google User: Thank you! I like the app, it is great! I have used it for a few years now...I bought this from you in Nov 15, 2010, still have the receipt lol. However I was curious if I could request some additional functionality in one of your future updates? 1) I think it would be useful if you could call out the icon size in pixels, there is a layout option for widgets, ie. tiny icons, small icons, big icons...ect. It would be more useful just entering a number in relation to pixels. Add this feature to the folders that are linked to other custom widgets not just a folder organizer widgets. 2) Another feature I would like to see implemented would be to select the layout of the folders, horizontal or vertical scrolling within the folder. SiMi Folder has these features & more but I don’t like that app though their iphone folder style is kinda cool... At any rate, long time F.O. app user & I appreciate the work! Thank you |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Last update is terrible Cant replace all icons from icon pack because the app crashes. Please fix it and I`ll give you 5 stars. |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Small icons? The newest update has made the icon size smaller on my tablet which does not match any of the other icons on my device and makes it look strange. I understand making the icons smaller in the folder widgets but I think the widgets that open the folders should be the normal icon size to match the other icons. |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Slower and slower Started replacing my folders with nova launcher folders. There's a considerable lag now when opening up the folder organizer folders |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Very good, needs refreshing eye candy!! Very good app, a bit confusing, could be a little snappier, but is the best folder app for android with good way to organise all apps into appropriate folders and see which ones have been assigned to which folders and make changes quickly. I would like to see refreshing of the interface, the folders are a bit stuffy, and I dont mean the default icons only, I mean the very unimaginative way of presenting the folder contents when you click on a folder, the way it animates, its shape, graphic design etc... all very boring, needs some serious work, and would be great if the look for all these things could be open sourced, have a market for looks/skins etc... it has not changed for many, many years, and that is why I am using SIMI now, even though it is not nearly as powerful, I have grown bored of the Folder Organiser "look". |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Great app ruined by latest update I've used this app for over 2 years and have considered it a MUST HAVE... until this last update ruined it. Keeps crashing. Heavily considering uninstalling it. |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Latest update had broken icon application Dev had been told about it for weeks and no fix. Had to go back a version in order to reset icons. Instant crash in latest version. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Good but some app shortcuts don't show |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Seriously needs refresh Used to be a great app. Now just crashes a lot. I have since moved to another paid app called "Application Folder Pro" & so far so good - has more options & visually more polished. I wish the dev here well & hope his planned overhaul of this app is coming soon, I'll be back to check it out when that happens. |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Applying Icon packs There are not too many choices for folder apps. This one is about the best that's out there. For those of you who are rooted and apply icon packs only to find the icons in your folders don't get updated, I finally found a way to fix it. Find the app here called Icon Themer. It requires you install the xposed framework. Read the description and follow the link to xda. Nandroid backup before is a good idea too. I found this hiding in the dev's forum on his website. Nexus 4 & 7. |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Crashes non stop Every time I tap a widget, I get something in the notification area telling me the app crashed, please send us details. It's BS. |
[2013-06-12] A Google User: Moving at a snail's pace... The app has huuuge potential. It seems like it's getting better and better with each update. Unfortunately, these updates are few and far in between. I love the new feature of being able to apply an icon pack to all icons simultaneously. Well, if it worked that is. For some reason, I can't get this to work for the life of me. Please fix it!!! |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Was great app, now usles Since update by you and update by Samsung to their new look interface i dont even have the ability to get shortcuts, for anything. Please solve this problem and give your customers their app back. |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Widgets keep disappearing! I would spend time creating my widgets on the desktop only to have them seemingly arbitrarily disappear. I rebuilt several times but it kept happening. Now, I keep getting messages that Folder Organizer isn't responding. Well, so much for this app. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: Love it This is the perfect organizer for my home screen.( Note2) |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Thank-you, Gracias, Muito Obrigado..... so easy!!! |
[2013-06-02] A Google User: بجدارة من افضل البرامج من افضل البرامج لترتيب برامجي والوصول اليها سريعا |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Waste of money! This app has become boring and pointless most features can be found on new phones. it is pointless to purchase this app. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: New update broke app Used to work fine. Now icons and folder text don't display anymore. SO ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT OR IGNORE ALL THE COMPLAINTS??? |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Desktop full of default folders Since the last update my home page is now full of default icons. Can't tell what's what! Some basic testing of the update might have been an idea! Not the first time I've had issues after an update of this app. Even if I try to re apply the icons it still doesn't work.. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: App is broken Just reinstalled and app is broken, just started causing screen to flash when in options. Very poor used to be really good. Back to uninstalling |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Update BLOWS! I'm sick of having to re-do my menus OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND AGAIN! |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: Was Awesome! Updated again and folder icons and labels still not showing with new update. Please fix! None of the updates in the past year have worked properly. The folder names and icons disappear after updating and you have to delete the folder and then add it again to get full functionality. I could understand if this were the first update that didn't work but it's at least the 6th or 7th. Have tried emailing the dev and no response. If the goal was to make an app that didn't work then well done! |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Tired of fixing desktop Almost every update requires that I remove and recreate my desktop. Annoying. Tired of it, fix it or I uninstall. It takes a lot for me to complain, you've earned this. |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Two words: the best |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Used to be a great service... The last update removed all my folder icons from my home screen(s), both on my S3 and Tab2.0. Reboots have not corrected the issue. Fix this and I'll gladly rate this with 5-stars again. |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Paid for Junk Was working great for 4 months. Woke up after a version update and all of my folder icons changed to the default folder and the folder names changed to Label Folder. Really disappointing. Under the settings for each folder, it seems the name and label choice are saved but the actual widget or home screen folder remains broken. UPDATE: Happened again. Only recourse is to completely rebuild entire desktop. Junk. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Great app, poor developer Really love the app, but would like to be able to mass import icon packs, but no reply from dev for multiple emails over a long period of time. Updates rarely. Only added new features/UI once in years. Sick of waiting. Update: added mass import of icon packs, but it doesn't work at all. Now can't reset icons either because it crashes. More ignored emails to dev |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: lost all folder icons annoying |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: Folders stop showing my pic icons |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: Fantastic App. Here's work-around for recent bug. BUG IS BACK - C'MON! FIX THIS! WORKAROUND: If you're losing the custom names and/or icons after a reboot, open each folder to see its name in the title bar, close the folder & remove it from your homescreen, then re-add it to your homescreen. It will retain the contents & restore the name/icon. Time consuming, & hoprfully the dev will fix soon. Anybody have a quicker work-around? |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Loved it, but last update is a total failure! Why can't I just uninstall the last bullshit? |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Makes accessing apps much easier |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Needs an update This used to be one of the best apps on my phone. Now it crashes, losses my icons and have to rebuild my desktop every few days |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Broken now I'm having exactly the same problem as Cody Smith. The Icons have reverted to default as have the folder labels. Restarting doesn't help. Please fix and I will give this 5 stars. But as of right now this is useless. I have also messaged the creator on fb, asking for help. No response. |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Great Really great! |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Good app but..... Whats the deal with changing the icons? |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Recent update grudge Love app, but latest update left icons for homepages blanked...had to recreate all my folders |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: AutoLabel? Essential app! Really. I couldn't live without it. |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Worked great but This did everything well. However when app updated last through Google Play, this app prompts for new folder organizations, everytime for every other updated app. If there weren't so many updates, this wouldn't be an issue, but we know there's updates almost daily for anyone with 275+ apps. Dev never returned email. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Was "Must try" now broken- Still works, but now produces frequent irritating error messages. Author hasn't fixed these errors for several months. Will restore old review and stars when fixed. (old review: Perfect popup launcher. Helps organize/categorize apps and is (using Home2) just a tap away in any app. Provides many ways to display apps in popup windows and supports sub-folders...) |
[2013-05-18] A Google User: Super app I love this app, because I can organize the apps in categories |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: Get organized Helps to group apps however you like. It can be a little tedious if you have a lot of apps! |
[2013-05-05] A Google User: Great Starting to find it a little slow now, so dropped a star, but still one of my fundamental apps. |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Buggy Crashes all day with Jelly Bean 4.1 while running google maps. I don't want to lose this app, please fix. |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Bugs Menus are missing, no delete option for categories? This app used to be good but now it's basically unless since I have to clear ALL data just to change something like an icon |
[2013-04-30] A Google User: If only If I could set the colour when you select an app instead of the default orange it would be perfect and 5 stars |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Could easily be 5 stars! I have been using this app for almost a year. It has allowed me to minimize the number of icons on my home screens, and group them by function, giving a very esthetically pleasing and useful, result. I completely cleared 2 of the 5 home screens on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus, though I have about 400 apps within Folder Organizer. However, the last couple of updates of Folder Organizer have introduced frequent crashes of the app (several per day), and more seriously, the font size on apps within folders has become too small for my vision. |
[2013-04-18] A Google User: What happened? Had given 5 stars, now 3 because although the app is still functioning, I get constant errors and no response from developer. So sad! I want my old version of Folder Organizer back that worked perfectly! Old review: My 100+ apps, bookmarks, & shortcuts are sooooo organized and the backup worked when I had to restore my phone. Everything is back in order! |
[2013-04-15] A Google User: Also Buggy for Me Same bug for myself. It at least kept the default icons. But for some reason you cannot use the folder config settings to change it to what I previous setup. Hope a solution is in the works. |
[2013-04-15] A Google User: Update just crashed it Lost my customized folder icons and labels. UPDATE: You can remove the app, download version 3.6.4 from the web and you'll be good to go. Of course you'll have to set everything up again but it's worth it. |
[2013-04-13] A Google User: NO RESPONSE! I emailed this"human beung 2×,NO RESPONSE!Used to have respect & LOVE this app but will NOT PURCHASE OVER & OVER &..... |
[2013-04-08] A Google User: Works Perfect! Couldn't ask for a better app for the purpose. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Just bought the app, but..... Can I have a setting where I can change the size of the text under the icons, just too small right now...thank you |
[2013-03-25] A Google User: Gs3 - icons gone Icons are gone after phone restart. Happened 3-4 times in last 6 months, very annoying! |
[2013-03-25] A Google User: Great but.. I can't change the widgets theme. And is it possible to get rid of that orange frame whenever you start an app out of a folder? Any help? Otherwise a great app!! |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Icons Great for NY large amount of apps. But icons are not centered on my HTC EVO 4g LTE Home. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: Really great but a little slow at times. I've been with FO since the beginning. No other app gets near what this app offers in term of organising your apps. The great advantage is its ability to launch folders as a shortcut.I've got used to the new interface which is more standard android. I have two issues which are long standing that I've been looking to the updates to address. Firstly even on very fast devices the folders can be slow to load. Also I've wished for folder background images and more modern graphics for a long time. |
[2013-03-21] A Google User: Update no good I have the paid version and lost all my folder icons, pls fix this |
[2013-03-20] A Google User: Don't Update! You will lose all of your icon labels on screens and have to redo everything all over again. At least take screen shots first. It is a great app except for the updates. From one home screen you can have 16 folder icons each with 20 app, bookmark, or shortcut icons. |
[2013-03-16] A Google User: Great app Should be part of Android! |
[2013-03-15] A Google User: Don't Update Upgraded to paid version and lost my folder associations. Then I upgraded to newest paid version and lost all folder names and folder icons. Very disappointing quality, especially for a paid app. |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Well... perfect U did perfection last year i complained but u did it bull eye thx so much for ur hard work congrats on the most important app on android igot what i wanted exactly and more thx once more beutifull app specially on tablet fabio thk u |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Used to love this app... But it's running like crap on ICS. I dont want to think what it's like on JB. |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Fantastic An essential app on my Samsung Galaxy S II. Love having a "favorites" folder of all my most recently used apps right on my main home screen. It organizes all of your apps into categories automatically. Love puzzle games? Add the folder to your home screen and all your puzzle games are pre-populated. Use lots of productivity apps? Same deal. This is one of the few free apps that I loved so much I went back and downloaded the pay version. Try it out first for free! |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Still Buggy!! Even after the update I still cannot see certain apps in the Folder Organizer (aka Amazon Instant Video, Crackle, HBO GO etc.) Why is this still not fixed? Kind of makes the app worthless since you can only organize about 1/2 of your apps. Please fix this ASAP, or reimburse my money!!! |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Still broken Fix the bloody thing already! Keeps resetting to saying folder organizer instead of the app name |
[2013-03-14] A Google User: Works great for me Have over 300 apps, can easily organize and customize folders and app shortcuts to any icons I download or make. Completely organizes everything, and allows home screen to be customized w/o go launcher, etc or putting a lot of time in. Able to backup so can easily restore. It works on RAZR and Nexus 7 w/o issues. Always got answers to support questions. Try lite version first. Poor reviews help if update caused issues, etc...not b/c you went straight to paid version or didn't back it up. |
[2013-03-13] A Google User: A Must Have Always the first app I install on every phone. Thx Dev. |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Why Won't You Fix This?!?! Ever since the last update, I'm constantly getting "folder crash" error msgs and app icons display even after being uninstalled. It's been nearly TWO MONTHS - Please get this fixed!!! |
[2013-03-06] A Google User: I don't really see the point. It does not support the native system icon without intervention, if you reboot it will have to reload all the icons and folders before usable. Does not allow changing icons of the default system only in folders you set up. Wish I could gift the app to someone else to me it is worthless. |
[2013-03-06] A Google User: ... Lots of bugs, no response from the developer. Too bad. |
[2013-02-24] A Google User: Love it, BUT I cannot change icons for labels or anything now. I grabbed an old version from my dropbox hoping it was just a new issue but on android 4.2.1 rootbox for the d2vzw the icon changing mechanism just shows a heading with the label name and nothing beneath it. Where the list of icons would be there is nothing.. Please fix as I desperately need this app for navigation bar shortcuts.. |
[2013-02-23] A Google User: Loving this app This app replaced perhaps my biggest complaint about the Jelly Bean update on the AT&T version of the SGS3...folders don't close after launching the app. While it may seem small to most, it bugs me out. Not to mention I flash and try multiple ROMs so this is the perfect solution to quickly making folders. Dragging and dropping each app into respective folders on the desktop is tedious at best. |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Keep up.. Love it. But still not worth 5 star |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Best 89p I ever spent I use lightning launcher, which despite being 100% awesome, does not have a useable app drawer, this here be the perfect solution, create second screen, add folders, instant app drawer |
[2013-02-13] A Google User: Great app! This has been my favorite app for a long time! Great for organizing apps & more. It is the only app I've found with all the features I want. (For some reason AVG recognizes it as malware, but it's NOT & the developer is trying to fix that.) |
[2013-02-13] A Google User: Good... widgets & skins wound be better I like this app alot, but I wish there was some way to put widgets in the folders. It would also be great if the folders supported skins. I would love to have a transparent/glass look skin. |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Was nice. I liked this for being able to change the names and pictures. But I guess my phone did a scan and deleted it on me due to maleware. |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Nice App. |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Avg antivirus.. Says this app is malware......? |
[2013-02-08] A Google User: Excellent very helpful in keeping my home screens clear. love this app. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Works fine I especially like the import and export feature for upgrades. I believe it also works when upgrading from the lite version, but it's been so long that I'm not sure |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Came back when I got my note Good again after fix. Quick too |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Icon Selection The last update does not work with various Icon packs. Used to work through the default app link, but in app selection just does not work. Please fix |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Just great!!! This app is just fantastic. On my phone, the widgets open immediately, you can manage all your apps, even uninstall them (not all organizer apps have this option). If new apps are installed, you can choose the folder for them in just two clicks and than the app can be started by opening the folder directly from the home screen. I like also the colors and the layout of the app. However, the contacts folder should be improved - there are no group links created in google. I had to link the groups from the app DW Contacts, but it is a quite dirty solution. |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Titanium Backup can use its label :-) An excellent app. I normally have a fair few apps on my phones, now that I have 2 gb of RAM in my Nexus 4 it flies. I just found out that Titanium Backup can use its labels, icing on the cake! |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Stay away from this app - Does not appear to work for Acer Iconia A200 (or Kindle Fire) Almost one week later, and no response from the developer.PAID FOR THIS AND CANNOT CHANGE APP ICONS! I followed the directions, but I have no options when I click on icon. Just displays the name of the app. Folder within folder option doesn't work, either. Sucks to be stuck with something I paid for that doesn't work as advertised. Haven't heard from the developer which is extremely poor customer service. Get my money and screw me, huh? My advice....try before you buy. I would never have wasted my money or time had I known there was a free version. I would rate this app zero stars if I could. |
