Android as a platform for mobile phones is a good platform and has many advantages. However, it also has its drawbacks. One of them is deliberately implemented is the lack of control over when the application connects to the Internet. In the settings you can disable the ability to connect to the Internet through cellular networks, however, in this way, we deprive ourselves of the possibility of using MMSes. However, it is a simple solution. Just change the APN name for the connection and communication will be impossible. NOTE2: The Android 4.0 + blocked the ability to save APN settings for cellular networks by external programs. Only the system programs have access to the APN configuration. The program installed as an external program, unfortunately, in these versions will not work.

Use your phone as a flashlight!

Torch is an open source utility which uses your phones LED camera flash as an LED flashlight. For phones without a camera flash, Torch will turn the screen white.

Tested on Nexus S.

If Torch does not work on your phone, please mention your phone model and check back for an update.

Permissions:
android.permission.CAMERA - Lets Torch use the camera flash.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK - Lets Torch keep the screen on.

This is a commercial version of NetSpector Sniffer/Ad Blocker. Differences from free version:

* No 10-filter limit.
* Filter sets can be saved/loaded.
* Friendlier UI.

NetSpector is a packet sniffer with HTTP support. You can use it to remove ALL ads from ALL applications, provided that ads are delivered via HTTP, your device is supported,  and you have basic understanding of packet filtering.

NetSpector captures TCP packets sent by your device. You can log packets, drop packets, or alter packets before they leave your device. NetSpector is a tool - do not expect it to be user friendly. If you cannot figure out how it works - you probably do not need it.

Please do not complain about lack of support for your device - this application uses a custom kernel module that needs to be recompiled for every Android device. As you can imagine, I only have access to a few.
