For Android Developers, not consumers.

This is a simple, efficient layout for data entry screens.

Each child View is positioned on a grid of equal sized cells.  It is assigned a starting X,Y coordinate and may span WxH adjacent cells.  (Think of it as a piece of graph paper.)  The relative size and position will remain the same if the parent is re-sized.

This application includes a description of the concepts and several examples of use.  The examples show both how the user screen will appear, and the XML or Java used to create that screen.  The Show Grid toggle can be used to show the underlying grid used to layout the View controls on the screen (very handy for future maintenance).

You can generate a JAR file for use in your own projects.  The JAR file can be used directly by adding it to the build path of your project, and also contains the source code if you need to make changes.  (The source code of this application is also included as an example of usage.)

Note: Generation of the JAR implies that you agree to the license terms.

This application activates the light your camera is using as flash (the little light near the camera lens). (A Flashlight). Doing so it can be used as very strong torch! It is not simply a white screen! It uses your hardware light! It brightens dark places!

If you don't have a camera flash don't install it, you won't be able to use it!

This is the only Torch application supporting Samsung phones!


It supports officialy:

It is very likely that it also supports more phones. It would be great if you have another phone model on which it is working and you could TELL ME this!

Before commenting "does not work" please make sure you tried all the different torch types!

Develop code on you phone and run it!

APLI (pronounced apply) converts your android device into a full programmable computer.  You write programmes on you device and run them on your device.  The programming language is customised for the android mobile allowing programmes to be written quickly and  efficiently - so that they can be exchanged between other APLI users via text messages or twitter. There is no need for you to own a laptop or desktop computer (although you can develop a progamme on your computer and copy it to the device to load into APLI).

Now includes 'Enter Live' to allow you to write programmes directly in APLI

This application is an add-on for the Elixir 1.10 application.

This add-on contains features which require permissions for personal data. If you don't trust Elixir or don't want to allow these permissions just don't install this application.

This add-on is needed because there are people who likes Elixir but don't want to allow access to personal data.
