稻草鞋资费精灵针对用户使用手机上网遇到的三个问题：不知道究竟还剩多少流量，不清楚为什么流量会用得那么快，以及不知道如何控制上网，提出了解决办法：

* 流量查询：掌握流量，智能营业厅同步
完全不需要用户输入任何信息，即可精确掌控包月总流量以及当前耗费流量，软件会定期自动同步营业厅套餐以及余额的准确信息，贴心的设计让用户用得开心。目前应用商店上同类别程序，如网络流量监控,3G看门狗和网秦手机卫士,并不具备营业厅同步的功能，安装后必须让用户手动输入套餐以及进行初始流量校正。资费通拥有手动流量同步功能，但经常会出现错误，用户体验并不好。我们提供对用户完全透明的同步功能，让您掌握绝对精准的流量信息。

* app流量监控：掌握耗流量根源，实时获悉当前联网程序
您可以查看每个程序当月耗费的流量，从而从根源上找到耗费流量的原因。此外，稻草鞋流量精灵提供实时通知服务，不用您打开程序，就在第一时间告诉您目前联网的程序个数。类似hidroid的海卓冲浪，但我们将用户上传和下载的流量归总后呈现出来，让用户更简单地掌握流量。

* 防火墙：控制单个程序上网，高效使用流量

用户what, why, how的三大问题：

1. what:不知道究竟还剩多少流量
了解流量的方式有三种，一是打电话或发短信给10086进行查询，二是流量快耗尽时收到营业厅的提示短信，三是通过第三方软件监控。整天打10086查询很麻烦，短信查询命令好记但容易忘，而大多数统计软件不准确，需要用户输入包月流量，并且无法统计安装软件之前当月已用流量。所以，很多用户的痛苦便是直到停机了才知道流量早已超过包月费，而这时候离月底可能还有很多天。

请看几个用户的抱怨（摘自新浪微博）
自从有了微博，每天在公交车，地铁上就有事情做了。不过没几天，就收到营业厅的温馨提示，对不起：您的余额已经用完。。。。
月底前还说有100多m，结果月结时还说我超过了100M！联通真操蛋！
今天，13800138000发了两条短信给我，姐姐手机流量杯具了。。。
手机流量用完了……这个月不能用手机上微薄了……

这些用户属于小白水平，对自己手机流量完全没有概念，只有当收到营业厅提示停机后，才知道吃了流量的亏。

2. why:不清楚为什么流量会用得那么快
用户知道怎么通过各种方式查询流量，但只能眼巴巴看着流量飞逝，而不知道是因为手机上的一些软件和游戏会在后台推送数据，自动更新，打开A-GPS定位，这些操作都会造成联网耗流量。只有找到耗费流量的根源，才能最有效的节省和使用流量，找到适合自己的流量套餐。

我下载了一个上网管家软件，发现这两天我的流量消息地特别快，不知道是什么原因？
我平时就用ireader和开卷有益之类的读读书，用蘑菇新闻看看新闻资讯，怎么几天时间就用了几十兆流量？
昨晚大概十二点左右收到10086的提醒，说余额低于十五元，今天中午再收到提醒，说余额低于十元，照这个态势，估计明天就得停机了
我手机上就几个游戏，这两天发现流量用得很快，难道单机游戏也会上网？？

这些用户对流量有基本的概念，对程序产生流量有感性认识，但对智能机程序联网能力不了解。所以空有疑问，无从找到吃流量的根源。

3. how:不知道如何控制上网
通过各种繁复的猜测，实践可以定位某个程序是消耗流量的元凶，比如发现有些软件会在后台不停同步数据，产生巨大流量。然而，这款软件精美易用，不舍得因此将其删除，只好经常在不用软件的时候便关闭流量开关。但这并不根治，一是经常会忘，二是该软件会趁其他程序上网（此时需要打开流量开关）之时同步数据，又产生巨大流量。总之，无法有效控制流量。
这种是高端用户，对自己的流量非常敏感，也会有意识控制流量，但苦于没有合适的工具辅助，也无法做到高效使用流量。

A simple application which turns on airplane mode once the phone has lost service for a set amount of time in an attempt to save battery life.

Also allows airplane mode to be temporarily switched off at set intervals to see if service has been resumed.

Originally written for my dad due to his phone draining battery at work from looking for service all day in the building, thought I would share with everyone else too.
