I really like the idea But not too hip to the implementation.I downloaded the app and received some cool pictures for display but they all went to my gallery instead of my wallpaper folder.Then they couldn't be deleted normally even after I uninstalled the app.Bummer,I would have liked to have had this,the pictures were great.

Beloved website comes to mobile So glad this long time favorite web page iS available for mobile! Lost 1 sltar because the images are somewhat cropped on my samsung galaxy tab.mobile display, but you can click through to the web version of any daily image. A must have for amateur astronomy and sky image fans.

Love! I have been using this app for almost a year. I recently changed phones and this was the first app I installed! I love it because I can wake up every morning to a new picture and astronomy is a major passion of mine. I can save the pictures I really like to my SD card. Thanks for keeping this app updated!

Pictures get cut off Most of the pictures are cut off and the only way to see the full picture is to download it.

Good, not great The pictures themselves are fantastic! But slight problem with formatting, it clips the edges of the pictures off, so you can't view the beautiful pictures! Also caches all pictures, good if you are looking at the same pictures all the time, but not so great when you're just viewing each picture once a day or so. Easy to use and tablet friendly! Fix the formatting and this would be the perfect astronomy app on the market!!

Would be great... If it didnt download every single image you view to you gallery! There is no need whatsoever to automatically save all images, just browse them and let us save them if we want to. Just had to spend ages deleting hundreds of photos! Fix this and you have a 5 star app

Neat, but... I like this app a lot and its presentation, however, there are a few things which bother me. When you open a photo you cannot scroll to view the full pic unless you open it in another app. I also always catch this app opening in the background. I have notifications turned off and seeing as how it's just an occasional photo viewing app I see no reason for background polling. What is it doing? I realize this is a bit of paranoia, but it really bothers me when apps do this.

Stopped updating... on my Pantech Element and wouldn't load latest picture even when requested manually. Also it would not set wallpaper on my Samsung Galaxy 2 phone, but did update OK. Therefore, I uninstalled this on the tablet, but after a day I'm reinstalling because I liked it when it worked, so I'll try it again and wait a while for a fix.

Gallery? Really? I was so upset that NASA'S APOD had no viable way to get their photos in my inbox, so this app excited me. However, on the DELL Streak for Android, everytime you marked to ONLY cache the photos to your SD card, it would overwrite your gallery images anyway. WTH?? I had specific gallery images there for a reason, so had to uninstall, sadly. Please rectify this overwriting bug and I will download again in heartbeat.

Great app! The only issue I have is the pic's information button in the upper right of the app doesn't show when the app is launched from the pic of the day notification. Either you have to launch it from the app drawer icon or switch to a different pic and then back to the pic of the day to see it.
