[2013-08-05] A Google User: Good app but could use a couple more features This app is great at what it does and works flawlessly. However it could use A couple of minor options like a audio cue when the countdown timer ends and also a finish/pause button on the main activity screen. no one likes to fumble around with buttons after a long workout and sweaty fingers. These features would make it a GREAT app |
[2013-07-27] A Google User: Best tracker to use with Zephyr HxM I've been using for more than 8 months and I like very much voice feedback configurable options, like heart rate in % of your max freq. I've evaluated also Endomondo Pro, but chose SportstrackLive Pro. Graphs and data both in cell phone and website are valuable to check workouts progress. Developers improve the app based on forum feedbacks, which shows commitment to customers. |
[2013-07-26] A Google User: Great app for cycling and more Can't wait till my zephyr arrives |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Nice App Nice app but would be better if it allowed integration into the pebble watch. Runkeeper is already a few steps ahead. If runkeeper gets the heart rate integrated into the pebble watch, then i will move on. Can you guys respond to questions in regards to the integration into the pebble watch? Many people have asked this in the getsatisfaction website and we get no responses from any of you. |
[2013-07-22] A Google User: Another bug Beautiful app, but now I notice another bug. When you Pause the app and then Resume - The duration is calculated as duration of exercise plus rest period. Come on guys. I love your app but bugs like this make it crap. It took you years to fix the Voice Feedback drift. Lets see how long it takes you to fix the duration after Resume. |
[2013-07-19] A Google User: Works well with Zephyr HXM Often have to restart phone to get app to recognize HRM, even though the Zephyr app picks it right up. Option to calibrate Zephyr pedometer while on treadmill is a nice feature. App is very customizable and provides a lot of data. Calorie algorithm doesn't always make sense - like when it says I burned more calories on the treadmill as opposed to an equidistant road run. (My legs can certainly feel the difference). All in all, though, this is the best workout app out there. Get the pro version. |
[2013-07-17] A Google User: Great! Fantastic app. Great for letting the wife know where I am while cycling. Pity the new logo is just the same as the skype icon - hard to tell apps apart on small screen. |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Very good with room to improve What i like the most is that is possible to create pacing zones with only 5 seconds between upper and lower level and the feedback is very constant (maybe too much). Downside is the intervals training are very poorly customizable and cant be done sessions with time and distance at the same time After 3.5 upgrade tge feedback coach has big delay |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Ok The new logo design is a joke. Have you ever heard of Skype? |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Excelent app. Very useful and easy to use and wonderful to recall your route. But, please go back to the old log! |
[2013-07-10] A Google User: GPS for treadmills? Other than needing GPS for indoor exercises, better than 95% of the other cardio apps out there. |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Fantastic I love this app!! |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Use it every day Great app. Good support too |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Love this app. |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Two Steps From Perfect If I could I'd give 3.5stars... I love the app, but there are two glaring errors. Firstly, I bicycle, and it shows my cadence though the app claims cadence is only for running. I emailed about it and never heard back (down 1 star). Secondly, the.calorie counter algorithm is only accurate via hr sensor. As an example, I rode downhill to a coffeeshop and "burned >500 calories. I sprinted home, uphill so slower the whole way and seriously out of breath "burned around 350"... Minus .5 stars. |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: Getting better all the time. This is a great app. I only wish you could overlay two courses for simultaneous playback. Nearly perfect! |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Best App Tried 6 different apps like this from playstore. The interface doesn't looks so cool, like from the other "Sports Tracker" app, but definitely can do more than any app on store. The Zephyr HXM heart rate monitor highly recommended. Negative: Lack of "Follow route" like in Endomondo. |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Good with one request If it integrated with MyFitnessPal this would be a 5 star app. |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: Works great for a novice I'm recovering from a recent heart attack, and wanted something simple and easy to monitor my heart rate while I exercise. I bought the Zephyr bluetooth HxM and they work flawlessly together. Since I'm just starting out with both heart rate monitors and exercise routines, I wanted something that was simple enough to start with, but would have room for growth if I expanded on my routines. I think SportsTrackLive fits that. The app is easy to start out with, but has lots of additional features. I also like the web based reports after I've uploaded my session. I'm very happy with this application. |
[2013-06-17] A Google User: #1 tracker Very good app, everything you need for outdoor sports. All is superb, i would like to see an option that uploads the tracks automaticly, and if it is possible - share to FB option. Keep up the good work |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Most reliable for Polar heart rate device! |
[2013-06-10] A Google User: Great app I love this app, the web integration and the peripherals support. Surprised that this doesn't have more downloads. |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Great App!! |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Best app for recording workouts Works well with Bluetooth heart rate monitor, lots of details on workouts with graphs over the workout and over the past 15 weeks of workouts. Very good export of GPX files too. |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Best in its class! This is the best sports tracking app that I have used. The UI takes some getting used to (I even had to read the manual at times ), but the functionality is top notch. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: This program is perfect Have looked at several apps, just for gym workouts and keeping an eye on heart rate with Polar bluetooth and this one does the job without any fuss, nice and simple, large easy to see heart rate, easy to configure and upload results from Samsung galaxy tab. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Unable to register Had this app on an old phone liked it so much I bought it again on my galaxy note but for some reason I'm unable to find myself or register anyone have any advice? |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Works most of the time but needs improvement I researched the market and eventually decided on this app compared to Endomodo, primarily for running. However, judging from the feedback from Endomodo this is probably better but still needs improved. I have a Sony Xperia T. Good: full range of stats including cadence and voice notifications for all the main indicators including heart rate. You can listen to music while you run and the GPS function seems to work and track the route accurately. Bad / to improve: I use a Zephyr heart rate monitor so use the cadence function but don't find it all that accurate. It does not seem to catch all the action on the treadmill so there's a big gap between what is reported on the treadmill and what is on the app. It only allows you to use music that has been downloaded to your phone so any spotify or podcast apps don't seem to work with it. The voice notification function keeps failing after the first few minutes so i end up having no voice notifications and keep having to stop and look at my phone. Can't seem to share routes with other users - this would be a key function along with voice activated directions to follow their routes. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Perfect for cycling This app is awesome. I never review apps, but felt that this app deserved one. The heart rate monitor is quite accurate when paired with the Zephyr HRM and I love being able to look down at my phone on my handlebars and being able to adjust my intensity based on my heart rate. Must have app (when combined with Zephyr HRM) for any cyclist. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Without competition This app is exactly what I was looking for. Complex tool for my exercise. Easily overlooked, but once tested better than any other tracker app you can find on market!! |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Lacks implementation quality This app has EVERYTHING I want in a sports app, but it is implemented poorly. On the positive: it has everything you could want. Heart rate monitor integration, cadence, speed, distance, maps, calories, pace, profiles and feedback. Bad: pace feedback uses old data so it isn't instant - it is annoying and unhelpful. Audio can't reduce music, so you either lose music or can't hear feedback. You can't adjust settings mid run. Heart rate monitor has to disconnect between runs in order to connect for new runs. |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Perhaps the best, but not perfect I have mixed feelings on this app. The Good: It's the best I've used in this space. It does some wonderful things --- customizable voice feedback, Karvonen zones --- great stuff. I like the fact that I can download my data from the website in a usable form. Integration of the Zephyr is also cool. I haven't used profiles, but like having them. The Bad: Handling of pauses is awful. It only pauses a few statistics (not sure which), even if you use the "pause" button (which is obscurely buried on the "finish" menu). It doesn't allow you to input important data that it can't measure. Power output on a bike or rowing machine come to mind; this can be better than heart rate. Even just having a "comment" field would be helpful, but customized entry would be better yet. If I enter "elliptical", height would be much more useful to record than "max speed". |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: Great App Love it works great!!! |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: Most features Of the tracker I've tried |
[2013-05-10] A Google User: Great sports app. Can't live without it! Absolutely love this app, but would like the option to have voice feedback talk over the music player (like it used to), rather than mute the music during feedback. |
[2013-05-10] A Google User: Best exercise app Sports tracker is the best sports tracking app on the market, the updates do not screw it up or slow it down, it always works when I'm mountain biking wether I'm in open areas or wooded areas, always gives good precise information & is well worth the price, I use it on an LG Marquee. |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: fine app |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Fast. |
[2013-04-30] A Google User: Race Its possible do race against yourself in treadmill mode? |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: I'm satisfied For me is STL better than Endomondo.Better accuracy, bettet battery management, more statistics (even altitude).I miss only few things: 1)optional autopause of all statistics while I'm not moving, not just pause of average speed and so. 2)fixing of gps immediately after program starts, not after start of workout. I have to say, that I'm satisfied with this app, than you. |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: It works! I've never had a problem with this app in the two years I've been using it. I don't use all of the features but the ones i do use work fine |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: Good for training Great app it gives you lots of info, I like the option to set personal training plans and live audio coaching is great. I hope to see a fast pause/stop button in future updates. |
[2013-04-16] A Google User: Great little app From all the sports apps I've tried, this one is the most reliable. Especially the HR polling rate is high and reliable, allowing for proper heart rate zone training (unlike other solutions on the app store). The UI could need some brushing up, tho. (Better presentation and Holo style.) |
[2013-03-31] A Google User: Other sports? I hope you can add other sports/activities in this great app. |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Best stats on the market I've tried every general purpose exercise app I could get my hands on - this is the best. Data available on the website is awesome. |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Does it all ! Timing, LogTrack, InternetUpload, Anaylises. Brilliant and well supported. |
[2013-03-20] A Google User: Not that great with HRM Picked up this app to use with my bluetooth HRM. Not that impressed. There's about a 10 to 15 second delay for the HR to show up on the app and the results provided are not that detailed on the app itself. I've compared this app with the Endomondo app and will be using it instead. Too bad I can't return it, but luckily I got it when on sale. |
[2013-03-19] A Google User: Greatest app ever!!! Xcellent. Works very well with Zephyr's HxM. As a sugestion, the possibility of taking pictures would be a plus. |
[2013-03-18] A Google User: Fantastic Love the race yourself addition. Would be good to be able to configure the voice feedback. When riding my bike gets a little annoying, being so closely spaced. |
[2013-03-15] A Google User: Fantastic Great app, love the new ghost mode and racing myself. Now if only I can beat myself! |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Osom Best sport app that i had. |
[2013-03-11] A Google User: Got me running again I love this program, it feeds my competitive side by rating my bests and the information is detailed and accurate. It got me motivated enough that I'm now training for a half marathon, hopefully next year a full. |
[2013-03-11] A Google User: Great Use it all the time. |
[2013-03-11] A Google User: All that I need, and more :) love the graphs and numbers. |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Author needs to discover world. Compete disregard of characters beside a-z making it impossible to enter proper place names around the world. |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Best sports tracker around |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Awesome! Fantastic App! Works perfectly with my Zephyr HRM! |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Great app I tried several apps to help me in my cycling training and this is my favorite by far. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Good app. Very good program. One suggestion. On "tracks" page there is lots of free space. I would be happy to see there distance and calories info too between start and finish time. Thank you. |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Awesome app I bought this app over a year ago and I would have given it 5 stars before but I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Developer has added a lot of useful features and has made it by far my favorite workout app. Excellent work!!! |
[2013-02-09] A Google User: Great sports tracking app! I've been using this app to track my running for the past two years, and it's never let me down. It's gotten me through two marathons and is working on a third. The recent redesigns are really beautiful, and the development team is always adding enhancements. One enhancement I would really love to see: how about implementing Android Intents so we can share tracks right from our phones to whatever social network/email/SMS, etc. that we want? The Facebook app is nice and all, but I really like the options that Android Intents gives for sharing. Keep up the good work! |
[2013-02-08] A Google User: Awesome app! This app blows Endomondo away! STL has oodles more information about your pace, heart rate, distance, etc than Endomondo, in addition to being HIGHLY customizable. Great website to view workout info. Love the option to keep the screen on during workouts, auto-connect to HRM, custom voice feedback, customizable displays and multiple displays during workouts just to name a few. Paired with he HXM heart rate monitor this app rocks!! I wish that STL had the connections with other fitness services like Endomondo does but that will come with time. I also have a Garmin 210 w/HRM and have compared the two side by side. STL has an impressive number of features and stats that the Garmin Connect site offers. My only concern is that there is a pretty significant difference between the calories burned on STL w/HRM and Garmin w/HRM; on 4 mile run STL shows 270 more calories burned than Garmin and 75 more calories on 25 minutes of spinning, all while both devices show heart rates within 2 BPM of each other. I understand that there are different methods for figuring calories burned and this isn't a deal-breaker for me but is a consideration for those of us wanting to lose weight. |
[2013-02-05] A Google User: mute music I have a music app I use for listening to mp3s and until the most recent update, it used to mute that music as indicated, during a voice feedback update. Now this no longer works. It will only mute with crappy default music player. |
[2013-02-05] A Google User: Sportstracklive pro Excellent app, tried other more expensive paid apps for running but they're not as good as sportstracklive. Works well with hxm heart rate and cadence audio feedback |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Sportstracker Pro keeps track. Sportstracker Pro is very accurate with excellent stats. I chose over five other running apps. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Great app! Actually developer is reading in my mind and developing features I was thinking about. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Best! Cool! |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Great app is disappointing Very powerful app with no documentation makes it impossible to get the best from the product |
[2013-01-30] A Google User: Disappointing Support The app seems to work ok, but the one feature I wanted doesn't work at all. The app will not save *ANY* data. I have entered my login information, and saved it. I've used the app a total of 8 times now, and my history button is greyed out, and the website doesn't show any workouts. I contacted the company via the support link on their website 4 days ago, and have yet to get a response. I also tried their forums, which say in a banner at the top "Sportstrack employees are here to help", three days ago...and have yet to get a reply there either. Thinking about demanding a refund. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: very nice app worth the money very accurate and nice display and online tracking is amazing.. keep up the good work!! |
[2013-01-19] A Google User: Great App Nice app... |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Basic Needs a lot of updating to be honest. It's pretty basic. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Finally with discount. Amazing sports tracker. |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: I like this one I'm an Endomondo scam expat that went looking for a tracker that was more stable than Endomondo and had a good feature set. Found it. Like the way they calculate calories (with hrm when available), like the indoors training stuff. Really happy. There are two things that annoy me: setting the program AFTER the start of the workout and the in-app creation of training programs is really fiddly. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Was very good but web update lost functionality on galaxy s Recent update to web function resulted in performance graphs and split times no longer being available for review using galaxy s. Major backward step. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Superb indoor/outdoor workout tracking app... I use this app with a Zephyr HxM heart rate monitor for boxing, gym, running, cycling, and all manner of family exercise. Useful and accessible statistics from a responsive developer. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Very complete Does virtually everything I want from a tracking app: easy start up and completion/uploading. The improved interface of the latest version is easy to navigate and, well, beautiful :) The team are very responsive, and open to user suggestions. I am using it with the Zephyr HRM, connects automatically without hassle. Gets a very fast GPS signal too. The website is good for live tracking and analysis of tracks - an extra bonus. Well worth it. |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Great but expensive Second time I have purchased this application. Its handy and with great novelty value but it's to expensive considering. |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Buttons.. New UI sucks...the finnish/pause button should be on front page, it irritated me before, you had to scroll down a lot and now..even worse. Like a bad joke. Does the owner use the app in real or just develops it behind table sitting comfortably? Otherwise such UI would not occur. Start/stop are the most important buttons in this app..the second is hidden... |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Great app for my needs. Have been using it for about a year and half to track my daily cycling commute. It does what I need it to do, haven't experienced any issues. Have not used the heart rate monitor. |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Was a good app. Not sure I like the new ui. No finish button! Might take some getting used to. Preferred old version. |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Voice now sounds bored Is there a way to speed the voice up? After the last update the voice sounds so bored. Training for a marathon so I'd like her to sound a little more enthusiastic and inspiring. |
[2012-11-23] A Google User: App dropped a few spots. I switched to this app from Endo because of the ability to split miles/km into 1/2s or 1/4s and I've been pretty happy with it. The recent update took the "Finish" button off the dashboard and now I have to use the Android back button to open another menu before I can hit "Finish." This makes ZERO sense to me. When I'm finishing a run I need a big, easy to see button. Why? Also, when I hit finish the app turns off my bluetooth. It didn't used to do this and I do have the leave bt on button checked. I use a bluetooth headset so this is super irritating. I believe I'll be going back to Endo, their "dashboard" layout is far superior--at least for running--I don't need to see all the stats until I've finished. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Awesome application Until last update, I can't see all the statistics while riding, it's limited to only 6 now. Why? |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Very nice! I like the app, mostly the live tracking. Please add voice feedback to start/stop/pause/resume! My only problem is that I've deactivated all the email notifications but the webpage still sending me 100 emails/day.. annoying! |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: I likey I likey |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: My favorite tracking app Good again after update. The Web could undergo a similar well done update. |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Amazing Best of his categorie, complete and a must for anyone with a zephyr HxM or bioharness |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Excellent Bought it on offer, I've been a happy user of the free version for some time. The website is great, definitely worth its money. GPS accuracy could be better, sample rate seems too low, suppose that is due to my phone. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Best at what it does College athlete here. Pair this app with Zephyr hxm and you have a perfect match. Very accurate. Calorie expenditure compares favorably with other methods of calculation. For mapping rides, I prefer google tracks. For a heart rate monitor/training app this can't be beat. Runs silently in background, I use poweramp for music, which sounds better then if this one had music embedded in UI. Love the feel of the newest version. No problems with this app after 2 months of daily use. Well done dev! |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Excellent app! All the feature that I wanted can be found on this apps. I cant think of any other function that can be added on! Xcellent! |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Want MyFitnessPal integration I love this app, but have been using something else that integrates with MyFitnessPal. If it integrated with MyFitnessPal I would give it five stars. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Doesn't work with JB 4.1.2 I have cm10 and it says it's not compatible.... Come on sort it out please |
[2012-11-01] A Google User: Great Stability and Features I have used most of the other sports tracker apps on Android and iOS and Sportstracklive is the most reliable. I have never lost a track due to the app crashing and the bluetooth HRM interface is also robust and connects reliably. I use Sportstracklive with the Zephyr BLUETOOTH HRM for cycling and gym workouts. Highly recommend the Zephyr HRM also. Developer is responsive via email and he is working on a major upgrade! Check out blog.sportstracklive.com. |
[2012-11-01] A Google User: Good graphs Pretty good for recording tracks. Website is good too. Polar HRM seems to work! |
[2012-10-25] A Google User: Voice feedback 1. Voice feedback drifts in time, eg. 1min1secs, 2min2secs. 2. Voice include seconds. Why - the smallest interval you can set is 1min. Does the 'minutes per kilometer' have to be spelled out every time? Pace is pace, and you know what units you set. All and all the voice feedback is saying to much that is not adding info. 3. The website charts and stats only show speed and no pace. Max Pace available, would be more helpfull if it was Min Pace. 4. Need option to set own distance groups for stats. Eg. 7km. |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Fantastic True the best |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Excellent app and website. Recommend. |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: Works well Worth the $s but needs some improvements |
