RiverFlows offers a quick and easy way to view data from river gage sites using an Android device. This is useful for fishing, kayaking, rafting, canoeing, or any other pursuit that requires tracking lake and river levels in the U.S.

RiverFlows is a free app whose development is supported by sales of the RiverFlows Widget. The widget is available here:

Great! This app provides more gage options than any other app. Put in my fav 12 gages from Missouri to Ohio in just a couple minutes. Now see all at a glance. Would be nice to be able to group gages by river so I can just see data from one river.

Sucks User flow is terrible. Worked for 10 mins to find a local gauge, bouncing between two popular web pages to find the cryptic value for the gauge and access it in the app. What I got from the USGS site wouldn't match gauge designation in this app, so no joy. I'll continue to access my browser's bookmarks. Uninstalling... waste of time.

Good App Trying to view river level data from NOAA on a mobile device is nearly impossible. This app brings all that information right to you. I like the features and being able to see gauge depth, flow, and temp. It would be a 5 star if the app was holo themed, and not honeycomb. Same with the widget, I would buy it if it were holo.

Awesome Paddling Companion! Just a few features would make this perfect. 1. Level and flow simultaneously displayed on the favorites list or easily switchable. 2. Pinch-zoom / slide on graphs to view more detail or a wider timeframe. 3. Table data view 4. Great app I use it for work and play on the river. You can favorite gauge sites and view both usgs readings and noaa. The one thing im missing from this app is table readings for cfs. When im filling out trip leader reports I end up going to the usgs site to generate a table report for the numeric cfs reading. If I could do that on this app I would be so very happy. Get this app! If you paddle, it is a must!

Excellent App, Exceptional service! (HTC Evo 3D) I got the app and the widget just before my paddling season started. I haven't had a single issue with it. Last night the widget wasn't loading my favs so I emailed Robin regarding the issue. I got a response with in hours helping me troubleshoot the issue. Turns out it was just an ID10T error and the widget being blocked by my company's WiFi settings, but that doesn't change the fact that Robin was willing to do what it took to get my flows back and keep me in the water. 5 stars app/service!

Great Nice features, like that it combines USGS and NOAA gauges. Would like it to be able to expand discharge data back to see a week hydrogaph, or month or year. Other than that, gives stage, discahrge and forecasts (NOAA). I do work on a tributary of Mad River in Ohio, and through it doesn't directly gauge the tributary, the Mad River gauge helps me to forcast when I need to be out and when its base level. Very useful.
