Application for refereeing fencing. Keeps track of score, time, period and cards.
Clean interface free of clutter. Most screen elements can be pressed to activate and pressed+held to undo.
Example: tapping the score increments it and pressing and holding subtracts a touch.
Has many different type of bouts: 5, 10, 15, team, best 2 of 3, 15 touch sabre as well as custom length.
Most features can be turned on/off in settings to customize to your liking.
These can all be turned on or off in the settings:
Automatic 1 minute rest between periods.
Beep and vibrate to confirm events.
Pause bout on score.
Display fencer's names.
Increment opponents score on a red card.
Display score +/- buttons if you'd prefer that over the press/hold method.

[2013-09-20] A Google User: Great app, one suggestion One suggestion: add an option for a non-combativity overtime. Right now the overtimes end when a fencer scores, but the non combativity OT goes a full minute. Otherwise this is by far the best app available. |

[2013-02-11] A Google User: Great Fencing App Arguably one of the best reffing apps I have used - however one small observation - the Start/Stop button could be a slightly different shape to keep it more away from the edges of the phone. It is easy in inadvertently start or stop the time when gripping the phone, especially when you are focussed on the action! |

[2012-07-24] A Google User: Great app but... I don't believe the rule book allows for a minute break between the final period of a DE and the overtime. The app currently puts a one minute break in there. Now, it's true that a good ref should just ignore the app and proceed to the overtime, but I can see this confusing the I inexperienced. |
