This is a text-to-speech library for use by other applications.
It extends the functionality of the Android TTS API & is a preview of things to come for the next version.
Press "Menu" on the settings screen for a showcase of apps that use TTS.
If you have problems, please try removing your SD card and putting it back.

[2012-09-14] A Google User: Crashes when Google Translate is opened… …but works anyway once the program loads. How weird is that? It's *very* annoying because it often causes Translate to fail to load properly, leading to three notices on screen (two TTS crashes and one "this program is not responding" one for Translate itself). Strangely enough, as I'm writing this on the Play market, it has a big yellow box on this page saying "This app is incompatible with your Showcase" - o rly, how'd I get it on here, then? o_0 |
